This is probably the best review of the 3 series I have ever seen!

(former BMW sales guy here)...This is Mineral Grey. It's a little deceptive in the film because it looks lighter (and better) when the direct sunlight hits it... but trust me it's Mineral Grey. This car is not available in Space Grey. Also FYI it is a Sport Line with 'Coral Red finishers' and a manual tranny which is actually rarely ordered by dealers. The start stop system of the clutch is to save fuel. BMW says it improves fuel efficiency by 20%. I think it is important to save fuel.

Sweet! Congrats on your new 3 series! I just came back from dealership to test drive a 550i. It was a very nice car and the HP is powerful but a little more expensive than what I would have hoped for. Now I'm not sure if I'll decide on the new 3 series or the 2011 550i.

color availability depends on your country/region... so you need to check the store....it has to be some shade of grey/silver

Great review. Just a few more days and my Alpine 335i 6-MT will be here. if any of you are in the market for a 50k sport sedan make sure you drive this car, IMO its still the best in class.

yes sir, the new F30 3 series lineup includes the 328i N20 2.0L inline 4 cylinder twin scroll single turbo w/ 240hp and the 335i N55 3.0L inline 6 cylinder twin scroll single turbo w/ 300hp...hope that answers your question

I just found this out today about my 2013 3-series.. those Presets don't have to be radio stations. They can be the way you want the screen to be laid out. So 1 -> Turn off split screen, 2 -> Split scren nav, 3 -> Sirius XM Lithium, 4 -> Navigate Home, etc..

getting it in 2 weeks, lets see how it goes

As others have said, it looks like Mineral grey. I've just ordered one in that colour and there was just one other grey which was a much lighter shade. Think it was called space grey.

How long does it last in term of miles? How long can you keep it?

I have been wondering the same thing. It looks similar but this car seems to be lighter and more metallic looking because of that. Could it just be the lighting?

My current 335xi is space grey metallic.. I think when/if the 4-series (3 series coupe) comes to the US ill be getting the Estoril Blue w/ M Kit :)

how does the bmw 320i compare and driving experience of that cuz its the lowest class sedan that may actually be affordable for many people that enjoys driving but not financially prepared for a 335i. What you say?

The 335i is an inline-6. The N55 engine has been praised by just about every auto publication out there. MPG for such a powerful engine is awesome. I average 26 mph with 60%-40% hwy-city and the car has just 1,200 miles on it. If you go with the 328i you are looking close to 30 mpg. Both the S4 and A4 can't come close to this. Consumer reports just reported the new F30 as one of the most reliable.

I'm pretty sure thats sparkling bronze metallic. If not they could have discontinued that color for the 2013 model. Good luck.

For everyone curious, it's not Frozen Grey. It's Mineral Grey Metallic. The lighting is throwing you all off.

It is a blast untill you get oil leaks,injectors and coils faults, crackly plastic trims,noise and knocking from steering rack aaaaaaand timing chain fails in some engine models.

I would love to get the 335i but unfortunately a little too pricey so I'll have to settle for the 2013 328i.

I am 6.3 and I don t fit in it.because of the power seats and sunroof there is very little head room.I wanted so much one of this and I ended up buying a vw golf diesel 2015.Brand new the vw was 18.850.The bmw with 23.000 miles was 20.000...In the golf I fit perfect and with the dsg the golf is just fantastic.So,sorry BMW,but the 3 series has to have more space in the front seats for me to consider one.

Guys my dealer asked the factory about the colour and they told the car in this video must be carwrapped with "frozen gray". Maybe for the best answer we should find the owner of this car??

Why do you compare it to the A4? The S4 is in the class of the 335i, offers more HP and four-wheel drive.

some bias rewiers said Audi A4 and Merc C class or even Cadillac is better then BMW335... and in fact non of those cars can bring so mnuch joy and pleasure as 335 can give. I drove it, and i say that bmw 335 xdrive is better then even 5 series or 6 series, in factm its the most fun car to drive.

I am so f.ing jealous because they sell mid-spec 316i for equivalent 55000$ here. Plus you cannot go for manual. And the petrol costs twice as much.

Welcome-- I also want to know that colour. To me it is not mineral gray and neither i am sure about the wrapped frozen gray. Please search for "f30post 12859359" this guy 'webdither' said he ordered the colour as in this video. But that's mineral gray. So maybe it is and the California Sun makes it more matt?

LOL. oh really? Never owned one? I am on my 9th BMW sir and just took delivery of my 2013 335i sportline with dynamic handling. Thats after I test drove the S4 extensively. Here is my take on it. Nose heavy, less efficient, and the only plus it had on the E90 335i, better cabin, its a mute point when compared with the F30. The only difference in performance are the tires which i will be rectifying very soon. BMW chose to go with very conservative size tire for fuel economy.

It's M3 to S4... but thanks for calling me a fucking idiot about it.
