Titled part 5 and a half because I'm still debating on what to do with the rear axle situation. Thank you all for subscribing, commenting, sharing and liking my videos! I truly do appreciate you all!

The old budgit hoist with roller chain brought back some old memories of the saw shop where I used to work. Used it to lift massive saw blades. One of the best shop cranes there is! Keep the videos coming please.

What’s crazy is, this one came out of a shop that used it to lift knife blades into a big jig to be sharpened for a big chipper head. These must’ve been the go-to hoist for saw shops!

Some things to take away from this video - 1. I think this guy is hiding a lot of his skills 2. My Liberty will never be a work of art like this one will be 3. He does not brag on himself as a lot do 4. He knows how to teach 5. He's leaving us hanging at the end of the video! 6. I can't wait for the next video! 7. This is a long video - which I like, some may not!

Thank you! To address #2, I’m doing these videos so someone can make their Liberty like mine! I do my best at teaching. I edited a lot out of this video because it was originally over an hour long. Also #5, I didn’t want to leave anyone hanging, just being honest at where I was at scratching my head!

I got it around 68000 MI one owner it's now at 120,000 and this thing is my daily driver and I wheel it mostly trail riding but I'm getting some sticky place and every once in awhile she just keeps going they're still stickers on the factory parts some of them under the front end it's rust free I think I just got lucky and got a good one finding Rust free in New England is almost impossible but it still rust free a car wash here and there during the winter time cleaning underneath it's so easy to do that's all I do and I never have rust unless the car had rust when I already bought it

Looking forward to seeing what you get done. I had the JK front with a trans x member/link mounts fabbed up for my wife’s Liberty, then the transmission blew and a few other odds and ends needed repair around the farm so sold it all to pay down that junk, don’t think the fellow that bought it ended up putting anything together.

Been getting ready to start working on the front, my main job is my major hold up. 12 and 16 hour days are rough! It’s a shame you put all that work in yours and the next guy didn’t do anything with it. Unfortunately, I’ve been there before on projects. Sometimes you just have to cut things lose and move forward!

Great call on the decision to relocate the LCA mounts👌🏼 First thing I noticed they were sticking out and would get lots of trail rash and possible damage. Great effort on the KK Rear Axle! 👌🏼 Doesn’t seem a rear JK axle would be any much different at this point. Looking forward to the next video! 👌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

@millwright15 I was really surprised to see Wrangler wheels go on here. I had been looking at that option for my Liberty but it seemed like they were different bolt patterns. Did you change the bolt pattern on your Liberty from the stock?
@millwright15
@millwright15 Ай бұрын
@@bshupejr yes, they are a different bolt pattern. I used a quality wheel adapter and had zero problems. The front axle is out of a wrangler so no adapter will be needed now. Still running the adapters on the rear.

I got a 2012 jeep liberty. My hatch will not open. Is there anyway to manually do it? I looked all over and i only see things for a 2007 and under.
@millwright15
@millwright15 11 ай бұрын
Just so happened I’m out in the garage, so I decided to find out. Looks like from the inside of the Jeep (obviously) on the back hatch there’s a small half moon looking piece that you need to remove. It’s about half the size of a pool ball. After that, insert a flat blade of Phillips head screw driver and turn it until the lock pops open.
@itznoah231
@itznoah231 11 ай бұрын
@millwright15 do you know if it's clockwise or counter clockwise? It was a plastic piece and I don't want to break it.
