@@millwright15 Thanks brother! Im also doing a suspension upgrade from stock. 2” spacer lift in the back and OME 1-2” springs and likely Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable up front. For the rear lift on a KK, can the rear stock shock length/height accommodate the 2” spacer lift? Would it hyper flex the shock? Or do I need to get a shock that’s a tad longer like the rear 5100? Also, would the Bilstein 4600 shock accommodate the 2” spacer lift? I read on a form stock and 4600 shocks would not because they aren’t as long (height) as the 5100 shock but wanted to confirm. I like 5100s on my WK and wanted to do the same upgrade to my KK. Was wondering what your experience is for the KK? Thanks!🤙🏼

Drives and does great! Night and day difference off road with just the rear locker! In the works on doing a new video where I install the front locker. Just have to finish up a few other projects.

It’s not too bad, I just installed the front locker (video coming soon) and I’m anxious to see how the traction control acts with it. The traction control didn’t really act in 4x4 with the rear locker but it would try to kick on still in 2wd on the trails. I’d really like to find a way to permanently disable the TC as it does seem to be annoying, especially in the snow in 2wd while trying to play.

@@millwright15 yeah I have the same issues with it in the snow as well. I disabled it this winter by unplugging the fuse. Unfortunately disables the antilock as well. I've seen guys on KZfaq hook up a toggle switch and disable it on the shifter console.

@@Hotrodmudmowers a toggle switch would be a great idea! Would really help it out on the trail in my opinion!

Yes, it will be fine if you do a rear locker and it will help out a lot! Just the rear locker made a huge difference on mine! Thank you!

You obviously didn’t watch the video…….he tells you exactly how he found and fixed it.

Install the locker into the carrier and check your clearances. If it doesn’t have proper clearance specifications, ad or remove shims. If you have no shims left to remove, make sure locker pieces fit in the carrier like they’re supposed to. If they don’t, the carrier will need clearanced as this one did! Hope that helps and makes sense!

Yes, the rear diffs are the same! Should be no problems! Just check gear ratio! Spline count will be the same.

I’ve used all different types of lockers, it really depends on what you prefer. The only downside to a lunchbox style like a Spartan is that it’s not selectable. Other than that, I love the dang things! If you like having total control of your rig, go with a selectable one like an ARB.

@@outdoorgamer806 they’re 17 inch wheels off a newer Jeep rubicon. The tires are Thunderer MT’s in 33x12.50r17’s.

Unfortunately I didn’t do a blueprint or sketch of it when I was building it. Just kind of built it as I went along. :(

Wish I would have because tons of people have asked about it. If I get another Liberty in for a bumper job I’ll definitely do a more in depth tutorial type video.

Back locker only was fine, worked great and I never had any problems. I put the same style of auto locker in the front and sometimes it’s fine in the city and sometimes it binds up and is hard to turn.
