Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! KZfaq's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at the Kia Optima Hybrid Premium.
During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

Hey Kyle, because of your review I sold my 5 series for the and bought this car in the 2013 model and I love it. Honestly I miss my BMW and may have both next year however, I would recommend this Kia or the 2013 to anyone.

I enjoy everything about this car and makes me happy everyday. The other thing is as long as you have a fuel efficient foot you will fill up even less I use 93 and fill up once a month with flat and some hills. Kia has made me a happy owner and soon I will have a sportage SX

The Sedona for 2014 will be pretty much the same (minor update includes refreshed grille, foglights are now standard on both LX and EX trims, and LED positioning lights above the fog lights). Nothing new inside other than a redesigned center console, which is touted for storage of iPads and tablets. Can't wait to see what a total redesign will bring us though! Kia keeps teasing us with that thought!

As an owner I can also add that the engine at 3k rpm sounds very similar to a lawnmower. But if you take off the exhaust it sounds decent.

I hate how you have to get the SX or Hybrid trim to get those Startup and Shutdown music and chime. Dashboard on lower trim on these optima are awful with old chime

Kyle, I think you should start a style of video where a private owner 'loans' (for free) you their car to do an in depth tour on it (i.e. for rarer vehicles such as a 03-04 Mercury Marauder or a 86-91 Dodge Daytona Shelby, or collector/classic vehicles that aren't usually seen on dealer showrooms...) and call it a 'Private Owner In Depth Review' or something like that... :D

For me.. This car has pretty good exterior. Inside - i do prefer 2color interriors.. This car has the colors more suited for old people.. :D But good review as always!

Hi Kyle would u mind talking about how the brake feels? I once own a Lexus CT200h and the brake feels like a two stage action, like your feel the regenerative thing coming in and the brake itself at two separate instances, which I hated. Thanks.

My buddy works at the Tesla factory in Fremont Ca. Ive been in that plant before it was called NUMMI, before that they built some of the GTOs' there as well.
