2012 mini Cooper S fuel pumps diagnosis

Жыл бұрынthis video is to simply help you diagnose which fuel pump is bad on your mini Cooper! I won't be going into great detail because there are many other videos created on how to remove the fuel pumps and hoses already. I hope this at least helps you understand what route you should take on repairing your mini.
I'm not a professional mechanic so please forgive me if you notice or hear anything wrong I'm just a car guy trying to share some of my hands on knowledge

It could be the JBE. The relay for the low pressure pump is soldered to the JBE board. They’re notorious for going bad due to dry solder and u have to replace the whole board or try resoldering the JBE board

exact same problem with my mini,but i check the voltage for the rail pressure fuel pump is all good,i took out the relay but the relay voltage is good too so i’m thinking maybe the fuse panel

the actual pressure from low pressure pump should be at least 75 psi
