Generally speaking 11.9 volts is a discharged battery so this is some way further down than that.

Agree it was at 9v at one point hence the replacement battery

Hi Do you think the boot not locking when you try to lock it from key was also due to battery or did you fix it when you opened the tailgate panel ?

yes was the battery

My boot lid drops back after opening fully and I hit my head.

Not sure probably unbranded was around £40 and yes very handy

Leave it open, if you’re lucky someone might nick it! At least then you won’t have to carry on paying for repairs. My advice is, don’t by a JLR car!
