Both side air vents are actually used as the engine intakes on the 5.0 Supercharged and one used on the SDV6 so not really fake.

I have had one for five years- and do take it off road. They are amazing off road- but need a decent set of tyres.

Just to add, the luxury badge on the back is the trim level. Close to the end of its life cycle, LR released a few special edition HSE models, the luxury, Black edition, and red edition. So not all RRS say luxury on the rear.

Those ARE NOT “fake air vents” on the sides! They are “ACTIVE” intake vents for the vehicle to “breathe” as it wades through about 4ft of water in rivers/streams so water doesn’t get sucked into the engine. You made a joke about it and devalued it when its actually an INCREDIBLE feature! So to all those who are being introduced to this vehicle and learning about it for the first time are now thinking its “just plastic”...devaluing it! How are we supposed to trust what u say when you dont know what you’re talking about? C’mon Brospephine?!? Get it together man?!

...Also they are not terrible as far as reliability. Theres no difference in costs when you buy a luxury vehicle in this segment. GL, X5, ML, etc. Those who say its “unreliable” go from driving a Ford Focus to buying a Land Rover thinking they just have to change the oil! Mine has been unbelievably reliable and so have many other owners. They do require maintenance and you have to “pay to play”. Dont diminish the brand because of “naysayers” who have never ever owned one! They’re just mouthy fools that deserve to remain driving their Mondeo’s.
