Worked great with an iPhone 6 and the Apple HDMI adapter on my 2013 GS350 w/ Nav. Nice to be able to mirror the screen for alternate navigation, video, etc. Great instructions and thank you for the informative video showing how easy this was to install.

Hello, I have a 2018 GS350 with the wide screen and I just watched 2 of your videos of the GS350. I perfer the screen mirroring device over the apple car play. Great videos. This video is 5yrs. Old. I was wondering if there is a better product for my GS than the one you show in this video? I have an android phone and would like the link to purchase all the accessories. Thanks

Not much has changed since 5 years ago although the product has revised with a new hdmi to av adapter. The product link is still good shown in the description of this video

Looks awesome, does this retain steering wheel controls? If not, can it mirror the video but still connect via bluetooth to retain steering wheel next/back function?

The volume on the steering wheel controls will still function while mirroring your phone. This might be a dumb question also; while using the mirroring function, will I be able to use the factory radio or USB input while using Google Map for example?

Hi Randolph, there is no such thing as a dumb question with us! You may not use the radio function simultaneously while mirroring your phone. You will need to use audio from your phone instead. So for customers who would like to listen to the radio while mirroring we recommend you to download the radio application

Please can you offer some detailed advice on how to remove the harness wire from the push start button? Looked very easy in your video but not so easy for me so far. Thanks! You say to push down on some tab, then pull out. What tab is this?

If you look at the connector, you will find a tab on the top side. Push it down firmly and at the same time pull away from the push start assembly

Correct. Installation is the same. Connectors will be different behind the radio, but it will be self explanatory once you look behind the radio.

Just to confirm, this work with GS' that have factory navigation installed, it just won't utilize the full screen. Does it mean that the right side of the screen still shows the Lexus menus like climate control and radio while mirroring the iphone?

Yes, this will work with GS with factory navigation. And correct it will not utilize the full screen and the right side of the screen will still show the Lexus menu while mirroring the phone. If you would like to see how the image will look, you may insert a DVD in your GS.

Hello, once te system is installed, if I get into the car and I do not plug in the iphone, will the car show the regular Lexus interface in the screen? Will I be able to use the joystick and the controls? Thanks!

Yes correct the car will show regular Lexus interface when you leave out of mirroring mode. You won’t be able to use joystick and controls with mirroring but you can keep using for factory controls

After iOS update 11, the image will disappear once the phone's screen is locked. The phone screen must remain on to continue mirroring on the factory screen.

This kit will replace your AUX from inside the central glove box as the same music can also be played via smartphone mirroring kit. You may still use the USB connection from your phone to the glove box.

Here is my plan. I would like to install the wireless version for my iPhone. So when I disconnect my iPhone to NetGear, can I play music by aux dock? It's kinda important to me because the AUX is where the best quality music goes. I use a portable DAC on the AUX port.

Your sound quality will improve when you use our smartphone mirroing kit as more data is transmitted compared with the 3.5mm AUX.
