Disclaimer - Adult Language in video. Also if you work on a vehicle make sure to safely lift and support the vehicle. In this case this vehicle is on ramps, with the ebrake set and a wheel chock in front of the front wheel preventing an accident. If you’re uncomfortable about performing vehicle repairs or maintenance, do your own research and or have a mechanic do if you’re unsure.

How much fluid you ended up using just 1 liter or 1.1 liters? also what brand you used? Any difference felt after changing the fluid?

Yes, it ended up being about 1/1.1liters we just added until it dribbled out of the fill hole. Let it dribble until it’s not leaking out and capped it. Fluid brand, I forgot what we used exactly if it isn’t in the video. Mobil1 or liquimoli

Is this the sport diff?

I don’t think this one was. If I’m not mistaken the sport diff has an external hydraulic actuator, this one does not appear to have one.

How often it should be changed ? and how about the front differential!!?

Great question! The automatic transmission is recommended every 50,000-60,000mi and the DSG(Direct Shift Gearbox) every 40,000 rear differential fluid at every 80,000-90,000mi. If you drive “spirited” you’ll want to change it even soon, always follow the recommended service intervals for your year and model from Audi.
