Yeah i was watching mecum the other day and when those shelbys rolled off selling for over a million dollars. My mom was like “who tf would pay that much for a car” and i said “Carrol shelbys name is on it and its original” she said “So?” I replied “Im moving out” so im living at my grandmas 😂😂

I just took delivery of my new 2014 Shelby GT500. I already have a 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca, and I love it, but I have to say that the GT500 is my favorite. Unbelievable power!! Comfortable, and rides like a Cadillac.

Just got an 09 that was garaged with 1922 miles on it and am loving this beautifully put together machine. The absolute giddiness I had to mask while at the dealership was unbearable. Eleanor was the inspiration and Shelby is the man behind it. R.I.P. Shelby

I think the entry price - heck yea. But performance he would be proud bur critique it too - hell yes. The auto is a performance decision - more gears and shifts quicker too. It needs that quick on the fly auto to have better performed for the track and the strip

uh its a camouflaged 2013, in a 2012 body because this was before the official changes were announced. But the important redesigns (5.8L) were there.

This car is amazing. They don't sell these in the Philippines and allot faster than a Jeepney! Shelby has a built a beast that will rule for some time to come. Any issues on this can be settled on the track. Enough said.

Cars have been (maybe always) sold in the fall as the next model year. IE: a '00 Honda civic was made late '99-mid '00, or a '94 Ford Ranger was made late '93-mid '94. They frequently have new models at least produced in limited numbers by the beginning of a year, especially in cases like the GT500 or Focus ST.

I was at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for a hot rod car show in 2013 and we were walking from the Corvette section to the Mustang section and here come this white Mustang with an old man driving it and he went under the ropes that kept the crowds from walking across the grass with big logo of Charlotte Motor Speedway and drove onto the logo and did about 3-4 doughnuts in that Mustang and the crowd was laughing like hell .....I thought , this guy is in trouble and kept watching him and he stopped the car , got out , and it was Shelby ! Well the whole crowd gave him applause and whoooo's and we laughed about it for an hour .
