I'm not sure yet, I'm going to get an AED tune, then dyno it. I'm hoping over 400+whp; however, a friend with pretty equal mods is telling me I should be expecting near 450whp.

My friend, doing a burn out is similar to having the drum line from a marching band perform in a certain time and place. If, say, you are at a parade, or a sports game, you would most likely be happy to see and hear a the drum line playing loudly on their drums, along with everyone else. If you are at home, and it is 4 in the morning, I doubt very much that you would be happy if your friends in the drum line marched down your hallway playing their drums. Seeing a beautiful car do a burn out is exciting and makes most people happy when done in the right place and right time, like at the drag strip or on private property when no one is asleep. However, doing a burnout at the local car meet (ruining the meet for everyone since the police will rightly charge disturbing the peace) or doing a burnout durning the evening when people are trying to enjoy dinner, or on public roads which become both a distrubance and a safety hazard, is unfortunately done by juvenile and rude people who are not respectful to their community. Oh, and depending upon the make and model of the tire, a burn out at the drag strip will greatly improve the tire's traction by warming it up and cleaning it off, leading to faster race times. For most tires, giving them a simple spin will not improve their traction to peak performance. Some tires require a burn out of about 2 seconds, like summer tires. Other tires, like high performance drag radials, work best when given a burnout of 5 seconds. Again, it depends upon the make and model of tire, not all tires are the same.
