Thanks Mario... I thought for sure it was the damn relay. then i thought it was the BCM (Nissan BCM's fail all the time)... The customer and I were both done in by a poorly installed brake light bulb.

dude knows his nissans! i had the brake light problem intermittently customer complained of lack of power kept throwing a brake light switch code i kept ignoring it sayin no that wont cause lack of power

Had one of those on Tuesday. 2015 pathfinder, this time it actually was a failing brake switch and not a poorly installed brake light bulb.

Awesome! I've had similar experiences with older vehicles with the wrong bulb being installed. They may have 2 filaments but the resistance was different. This was a little different, but good job tracking it down 😉😉

Me too. Thats what sent me to the rear of the vehicle. For some reason (i dont remember why) i stopped working on the car for just long enough to allow the autolamps to turn off. Thats when i noticed the correlation between the headlights and brake lights being on together (the part when i came back to the car and said "i know what it is". lmao).. Sometimes experience is winner!.. thanks for watching Cuba.

Thanks pal, my 2013 Path Finder looses power when driving slow in inner roads or turning. Nissan dealer changes brake light switch. Still hasn’t helped and loose power. They gave me a long list of 5K to change . Would be happy to come over and get some help.

🤔 for about a half second I thought your wiring diagram image was coming through the nav system. I was like what th! More info from the customer is like pulling teeth especially from the service writers they dont seem to ask enough info. Enjoyed this one thanks!

Yeah man it sure is like pulling teeth. But you are correct the diagram was coming through the Nav system (Davinci Resolve is awesome editing software) .. Thanks for watching Mike i appreciate your comments.

I ended up getting moisture in one of my sentra’s tail lights and had the same problem when my headlights or parking lights were on. I replaced the tail light and the problem went away.

Dont do it! i dont like it at all. Get this one amzn.to/2NAGfyP or this one amzn.to/370qN6F .. I have the first one the none automotive one and i like it a lot. Its a much better value for the price than the Ditex.

yes. IP characteristics need to be written. Dont use a used trans. Dealer will give you a hard time about programming it unless you get the IP characteristics disc with it.

@@Autofixpals Always ! Btw I have a job coming up and I could use some tips. 2007 Altima 3.5l AC suction line. I took a peek at it and it seems like the fan should come out to gain access but I could be wrong

@@Usmanthemecano i believe you can get to the 10mm bolt from under the vehicle. I have done a few of them but not recently. However i dont believe it was difficult. i think a long low profile 1/4 ratchet with a 10mm should do the trick.

or maybe even a long extension from the top with a swivel socket.

Lol. I am a Nissan Tech and had the exact issue with a 2018 titan, but it was caused by LED light bulbs being installed.

Auto Fix Pal NO just like to be informed, what problems other Nissans have at different mileage that’s all. I Owen a Rouge SL so nothing bad about Nissan love them.
