Dear, show us how to change the rear tyre of piaggio fly 2013 model. Is it necessary to take off the exhaust ?

Hi Mitch, glad to found your channel, i wanna ask for your advise. i drive a piaggio zip which has the same brake disc on the front as your Piaggio Fly. the thing is, it makes so annoying noise when I use the break. i already grind the edges of the brake pads and did some copper Paste on their back side but after two days the noise came back again. the Scooter has just approx. 2000km. do you have an helping idea what else i can do? thank you

Hi, I would grab the brake disc cleaner and spray around the pads and disc area.... put a cardboard in the back so it won't spray on the wheel and panels :)

I know you asked Mitch, but this might help. Scooters sit sometimes for long periods and the gas in the float bowl can turn to gunk (technical term). That gunk gets sucked up and plugs/or partially blocks the main jet. Pull of the float bowl at bottom of carb and check the amount of gunk... a little can be cleaned with carb cleaner. If it seriously gunky... pull carb, disassemble and carb clean everything, especially the jets. After restoring 50 scooters (20-30 years old) I've found 99% are fixed with carb cleaning and a fresh battery... good luck.

"Do not touch the brake lever..." Right; um, what if my mindless friend came over and did just that? Hi, I am currently trying to replace (put back) the front wheel in the fork, but cannot because both brake pads are flush, and will not allow the brake disc (or even a screwdriver). Question: what now?? How to separate the two brake pad calipers?

@@walidos1984 Man, that was like four years ago, so I don't remember. I may have played with the brake lever, but I don't think so bc I don't remember removing the plastic housing to gain access. Or it may have been just giving it time to decompress? I'm like 80% sure that I did not bleed the brake line, but again, I just can't remember. I sold the scooter years ago (and regretting it). My best guess is that I tried different tools to wedge between the pads and just force-opened them wide enough to slide the disc in. Wasn't easy. Hope that helps. What year & model is your Piaggio? Mine was a 150 (that as a stock scooter got up to 73mph on the highway!) Ride safely, and look every driver in the eye - epecially cars behind you. An Audi nearly rear-ended me. People drop things on their car carpets and brilliantly take their eyes off the street and onto their floor and.....screech?
