詳しい情報ありがとうございます。　111期は本当によく頑張って大勢のメンバーをまとめ上げてのマーチングコンテストでの出来は"ゴールド金" 間違いないと自分では思っていました。 その通りで徳島のステージでの演奏は素晴らしかったですね。特にsing sing sing　の出来は最高の出来でした。 今では111期のOGが沢山プロの世界で活躍されています。今のメンバーのマーチングコーチもあのSさんですね。（この映像でドラムたたいてます・・今更の情報ですが） コメントありがとうございました。

107期に次ぐ極悪111期です。( ˘ω˘ ) 2018年ローズパレードでは現役に紛れて60人ほどが暴れ回っています。

ローズパレードではこのレジェンド達の参加で大所帯での圧巻のパフォーマンスは2012年と共に歴史に残りますね😃

さくらパレードで「目を瞑るのがもったいない」なんて言いつつ「自分たちの時代が来ました～」とか、「お先真っ暗」・・なんて言っていたのが懐かしいですね。この期は当初79名でしたっけ、２，３年生の合計よりも多かったのですよね。

yuu2chan さん返信ありがとうございます。上の動画でも客席からメンバーの名前がコールされていますが、誰のことかさっぱりわかりません。しかし最近111期の　sax のOG達の　JEASTER kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fL2WaLGkqc-binU.html この動画ですこしわかるようにするなりました。よく考えてみるとこの時はは9月の橘祭ですので関西大会の前なんですね。不安もあったでしょうが、この時は悪魔ではなく無邪気な高校生ですね。

It seems there was a pond water in the part where the audience is sitting, the place where the color guard is enjoyable and dancing. However, it is good to dance well on this narrow stage. Demef one of the Drum Majors used to have a whistle hanging round her neck and a gold coloured something, think she played a saxophone. I have seen one who had a clarinet on a stand and then played in the band. They are indeed great.

DEMEF, I have since found out the "Gold Coloured Something" is a Samba Whistle. I think it is used to signal the Drummer and rest of the Band. There is an unofficial fan website with a list of Band Masters and the instruments they play

I would defer to anyone who knows more than I do (which is "anyone"), but the DM usually sports a whistle to signal instructions to the band, much as a bugler used to do to send signals to troops in battle. But yeah, "SAMBA!" time for a KT number is as good as it gets!

Those are their normal school uniforms, except for the colorful festival T-shirts. School uniforms are the norm in Japan, and I think they do a very job of keeping high school dress "modest." None of this trampy slut stuff you see in America.

There are many members who joined the year when the brass band of Tachibana High School became famous throughout Japan, so there are many members of each part.

It was the year 2012, right after the band's first appearance at the Rose Parade so I guess it helped attracting lots more students than usual. But I think the size of the band has grown in general after that too, not with the percussion but other sections. Before that they had like 60-ish members and has grown to around 100 ever since.

@@thinhvcoin I think the drum and percussion section only lose a couple of girls this time so maybe it will be a little larger next time.

114th class (Tippi, Komare) was pretty large, too. Then again, when Tippi played it was like having 4 drummers! Can't have enough percussion!

@@demef758 I think that class only had seven in that section, remember most of the girls in that section during the Rose Parade were alumni. The 111th had something like 12 or 13 in that section.

Yes, the KT band was more exiting and powerful back then. It’s nice to see Mentapu (Nanaho Shima), the current KT marching coach on drums. The recent KT band is more musically fine-tuned by the current musical director to win competitions, but in return, they lost the powerful “fun” factor that they had in the past. I hope they will try to recover that.

2012年の夏祭りにはこのみちゃんと一緒に元気に演奏していました。 その後に金属アレルギーで退部したと聞きました。

今さらなのですでにお気づきかも知れませんがパーカス隊の１番左の二列目にいてますよ♪ その右隣は3000人の吹奏楽の前日にもう寝れない、笑い事じゃない、もう不安しかないと言ってた部員さんですね♪

Her name is Nanaho Shima. She appeared in a TV program of the band in 2012 as a freshmen, following and fangirling the band during the Sakura Parade and later officially joined the band. She was struggling with the training at the beginning and later was happy as she was given a chance to play. I don't think so. Back then in 2014 Chippi of class 114 wasn't enrolled yet. The person you pointed out seems more like the CG member of 113 class while still in her freshman year.

@@jeffragar3493 Don't forget that Chippi had longer hair and a pony tail when she first joined the band. She only had a shorter hair style after a few months.

This event is their school festival. All 3rd graders participate unconditionally. They just enjoy high school life.
