Oh yes, I love this peek into the past. Wonderful music played by talented young performers. They dance so effortlessly also, while most play wind instruments, which is amazing to me. All of this lead by the relentless and continual beat laid down by the one and only Yuina Mita, my favorite drummer. I know people go on and on about the brilliant smile of Chippi, I have as well, but I must say that Yuina Mita's beautiful smile easily rivals the smile of Chippi. I see a few other performers that I recognize, both musicians and colour guard. Groo Me baby! 😁👍👍

動画ありがとうございます。相当暑い環境でのマーチングですね。 ※団扇で扇いでいる観客の方が沢山います。その中、オレンジ色上下の正装での参加です。彼らのプライドを感じます。気が付きましたが、この時代はユニフォームの色がライトオレンジで統一されていた時代ですね。 2011年度ではダークオレンジのユニフォームを確認できます。 2012年お正月のローズパレード参加は一年以上前には通達されるようなので、2012年ローズパレードで OBOGが多数参加するため、新しいユニフォームを調達したのでしょう。 Thank you for the video. It is quite a hot environment for marching. There are many spectators fanning themselves with fans. In the midst of all this, they are participating in full orange combat gear. I can feel their pride. I noticed that this was the era when uniforms were uniformly colored in light orange. In 2011, you can see the dark orange uniforms. It seems that we will be notified more than a year in advance about our participation in the 2012 New Year's Rose Parade. I guess they procured new uniforms for the 2012 Rose Parade because many OBOGs will be participating.

うわ～☺️ これって凄く貴重な動画ですね🤗 01:25 スーパーマリオの演奏開始動画の先頭はパーカス隊先頭は木琴お持ちの108期サンキューまじまさん 2012と2018のローズにも参加されてますね二番目の方もローズに二回参加されてるのでは❓ 三番目は藤川先輩ですね TVで後輩の一年生が3000人の吹奏楽イベント前の練習でなかなか上手くいかなく藤川先輩に相談に行き、後輩を丁寧に指導され、途中で泣いてしまう一年の涙を拭いてあげるシーンは人柄の良さが伝わりますその後で自分も苦労してた時を思い出し、上手く行かない後輩の気持ちが理解できるとおっしゃって涙を流されてるのにはにグッと来ました何期なのでしょうか109期かな❓ 四番目の方はNHKの吹奏楽コンクールで優勝したときのドラムの方では❓ このみちゃんと同期かも❓ 01:52 サンキューまじまさん 03:02 ホラっ茶先輩が高2の時ですね🤗 08:15ドラムの107期の三田さん 2012と2018のローズに参加して今はGroo meで橘の卒業生の皆さんと活躍されてて卒業生へのインタビューはほっこりします🤗 追記 Groo me改めO-vils (🍊の👿をよじったそうです)

They were already legends- they had won the Gold Gold on the green floor at Osaka-jo the previous 2 years in a row, and according to the rules, were not allowed to compete this year. They had established themselves well before this performance, and were already nicknamed "The Orange Devils." ..Joe

2012からピッㇳ楽器禁止になったから迫力が違いますね。出雲商業と言えば橘と同じデザイン紫でしたぬ。月一ぐらいで一緒に練習してましたね。それにオレンジの悪魔も翌年からいわれ出した気が、でも本来の意味は他校のやっかみだった気が。アニメで水色の悪魔がバズったのが翌年ぐらいでしたね。

これは珍しいね。懐かしい＼(^o^)／顔がたくさん確認できました。結菜、Mei　ほらっちゃ先輩　中山君　藤川さんなど、、演奏、演技はもちろん素晴らしいかったのですが、張り切り過ぎたのか、少しドラムスが走り過ぎてたかな？これは出雲ドームだから、仕方ない部分はあるかも。エアドームで音が乱反射するから、、でも、さすがに107期と108期の実力者チームですねぇ。上手くまとめてます。懐かしい動画、ありがとうございます。

Mr. A I realize that one of the rules of K-Y videos is not mentioning names, however I broke that rule. Allow me to explain. Five to six years after this video and returning to college, utilizing limited resources and having a lot deciphered by a Japanese instructor, I wrote a paper on this wonderful band which received mixed reviews. My instructor, an assistant college band director, pressed me fr more information and I became a devoted K-Y fan, and would watch their videos in my spare time while pursuing my degree. I know that everyone has their favorite band members and I am no exception. My favorite DM is DM "Ron", my second favorite is DM "Cony". Three of my favorite band members are Chippi, Milpy, and Kurara (Hitomi). PS I have been told that there is a video of them performing a tune made popular by a group called the Champs, and the song is "Tequila". That is a video I would love to find.

Wow, I was fascinated to see a performance so long ago ( to explain, have only been a follower for 18 months), sadly I felt the acoustics in the hall weren’t great and by shorts of the audience, it was incredibly hot 🥵. Keeping focus in that extreme heat is not easy. Nevertheless a great performance by all and I have to say I loved the drummer, the heartbeat 💓 of the performance and her continues smiling was a pure joy. And yes you have guessed it, I am fan of drummers, life blood of the band and normally the nutty one in the band 😂. But if they get it wrong, it’s a disaster. Does anybody know how they did in the comp? The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

Yes, it was hot. Can see them sweating & wet hair stuck on their foreheads. Read their orange uniform is quite thick which means their endurance is high to perform in that heat 👍👍👍👏👏👏

全部自分達で作り出すのですから驚きです。DMさんが選抜した構成担当の部員さん達がマーチングドリルフォーメーション(行進隊形)、ダンスの振付を考えてパート担当と調整しＤＭさんの決定で決まるようです。マーチングに関しては先生にチェックして頂くことは有っても実質DMさんを中心とした生徒達の作品と言えそうです。

@@u47mkbg At the time, I did not understand how the Japanese school system worked. I didn't know their school year starts in April and ends the following March. But I know now that even though her 107th class graduated in 2011, they are known as 2010 graduates of Kyoto Tachibana SHS. I easily recognize her now, since I've seen her numerous times over the past four years. Yes, I watch every O-VILS show that is available via live streaming.
