Yes in 2022 watching them.... if the state ever could have started up a new NBA franchise they could have moved these guys there post college. I still am amazed at the talent level of this team. If the NCAA final four was best of 3 or better best of 5 games to really test the bench like the NBA, these guys would have won. It was a quirk in history like UNLV and Georgetown losing when they had the best teams of those years. Like many top college coaches have said, in the ncaa you need some luck also.

WV’s strategy was to play fast and chaotic against a team that was more talented, better at playing fast, more athletic and more deep.

The way guys were hitting the floor i am surprised one of them was not nominated for an academy award! This game was a foul-o-rama, the refs were too finicky.

Bro the first 10 mins of this game might be the worst officiating I’ve ever seen for any stretch of a game lmao. The flop charges? The travel call on dakari Johnson at 10:31? Maybe I’m blind but Jesus this was cringe af to watch

This team was so good defensively. In order for them to lose in final four every single thing had to go wrong/against them, which it did. Terrible 3 point shooting, obviously biased game altering officiating, low FT %, incredibly high FT% for Wisconsin, & bad coaching decisions.

Even with all the shitty that happened to me Cal staying with the Harrison's twins in that game at the end instead of Ullis and Booker they still win. If I recall they had two or three shot clock violations down the stretch...

It cut out thr best play of the game.. Andrew behind the bk circus and no look and 1.. Just got the ft... But still great gm to look bk on.. Could say we did some Mt. Top removal!! Lol

Kentucky was better than everyone this year. They were going to beat WVU by a lot no matter what happened during the game; however, the 2 foul calls on Devin Williams within the 1st 2ish minutes of the game were horrendous. Take him out of the game and WVU had zero chance of even making it competitive. If WVU looked at Kentucky the wrong way it was a foul. Well done zebras 👎👎
