May I add a suggestion: Is it possible for you to display on-screen torque values for nuts and bolts being reassembled? You're already showing us how to do the work (much appreciated) but it would be nice if you included torque values, especially for such an important part of the vehicle. Some of us do it by hand and gude-n-tite isn't exactly something I wanna guess on suspension, even if I am gonna go get an alignment afterwards. Thanks!

Just ordered mine! Will keep you posted and will write a review once installed. Just had the put on! I wantedd these because I got the barricade bruch guard (from AT as well 😉) and those extra lbs on the front were going to make that rake worst. For my 33s they work great. Truck looks better. It is shy about 1 1/2 inches from being true level on mine. But 2 inches doesn't mess with the angles too much as compared with a 3 in lift. Over all very happy with them. Didnt feel any ride difference currently.

So your other video for 09 to present you say you gotta trim. But this video you can fit 35s. On this say 14 up. 2011-14 is the same right?

After installing Rough County 2" loaded struts to my 2014 F150 I had 3 warning lights come on. Service Advancetrac, Check Break system and Hill Descent Control Fault. They error codes are B1596-E0, B1596-20 and C1297-F0. What is causing all of these errors?

Don’t need a vacuum pump to take out axle. Or to put back.

Just out of curiosity, does AT install kits? I know they have the "home install" which I don't think covers lifts or levels. I don't live too far away and would just drive there. Opposed to trusting any of the shops around me.

I have done this twice and never pulled a vacuum on the IWEs.. as soon as you release vacuum it's slides back into four-wheel drive.. I just made sure i spun the wheel bearing as I was reinstalling the half shaft until I felt it bottom out and lock into the splines.. I don't think pulling vacuum is necessary.

Does this space the front wheels out at all? i.e. Will I need spacers on the back wheels to keep my wheels in line with each other?

No. Only GM trucks do that when they are lifted.

all these comments are comical. its really not that difficult. some people have had bad experiences with rough country but theres really not much to fail here.

I wish I would have watched a different video other than this one, this is by far the hardest way to get it done. Ended up needing a spring compressor because I spun the spring in the strut following this video. I like American Trucks, but you guys need to re-think your technique on this one. Does it work? Eventually, but it’s not an efficient method.

take the coil from the passenger side and use that on the driver side and so fourth on the other side. you're welcome

Why do you have to apply vacuum to the axle? Why would anyone have 4x4 engaged? Do we need to apply vacuum if we leave the truck on RWD at the time of the install?? This is confusing.

4x4 runs off vacuum. If you have no vacuum 4x4 will engage, therefor the when you remove that vacuum the 4x4 mechanism engages

Why not just drop the lower arm off? You have to get an alignment anyway.

you wouldn’t be able to pull the hub off. The vacuum releases the 4x4 mechanism which clamps down onto the splines on the axle

@@123789timothy Not necessarily true. I did mine today without vacuum. Wasn’t difficult to get off at all. I think it’s recommended so you don’t damage the teeth when reinstalling. Just be careful and it’s fine.

@@123789timothy Possibly. My truck is an 2018 with 18k miles on it so it came right out. If your truck isn’t that old with not a lot of miles I’d be surprised it didn’t come right out.
