Watch a full tutorial as a 2016 Toyota Tundra will have an amp and sub Installed. We will be using the stock CD/Radio Stereo of which will be removed to allow access to speaker outputs in order to our wiring providing signal to the amplifier without use of an aftermarket radio.
NOTE: Our Tundra was not equipped with the factory JBL sound system, however, there was a small door speaker amplifier under the passenger front seat which was removed. If you have JBL, and plan on retaining the factory radio, you will need to tap into the sub output of the factory amplifier located under the passenger front seat.
This video applies to Toyota Tundra models for years 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. This video also includes dash trim removal, complete amplifier wiring instructions, complete installation, and testing.

Yesssir, let’s do this. I don’t even have a tundra , or a VW or what ever it was in your last video, but still watch every video In hope of learning some of this ‘quantum physics’ that you guys call car audio engineering or whatever it is. I have never ran into such difficulty trying to learn a new diy ‘skill’ ever in my life until I tried to learn audio shit. It’s like a trying to learn calculus but everything is written in some foreign language… its so difficult that it’s even hard to explain… lol.

So video seems great but the t harness you say you build for the line out converter is nice but kinda new and would love some instruction on how to BUILD THE HARNESS. It is a step that was left out of this video and seems to me to be the most difficult part to this process.

Hello, i was wondering how you wired the subs in the box? Are they four ohm wired to 2 ohm? Series? Parallel? I bought all the same equipent for my tundra and you didnt cover installing the subs in the box. Thanks.

Being a KZfaqr myself, i tread light when commenting on someones page. I love your videos by the way, but the only thing that stumps me on this is how do you wire the line out converter from harness from the 4 channel build. I have looked at the two videos 5 or more times just making sure I didn’t miss it. When you finish the 4 channel video everything is button up, no lose wire. So how do you have a whole end of a 9 conductor with nothing on it coming from the harness. I hope I’m making Sense..

Without any custom fabrication, hard to say without seeing them in person. You could drill and flush mount them in the door panel, or in the A-pillar.

Sure, you can keep the factory radio, add a line out converter or signal processor, and install an amp and sub.

Because this isn't showcasing the equipment used, rather showing you the technique on how to install the equipment themselves. You can't possible expect to get a great audio experience as a test over youtube quality, do you?
