Viper will always beat corvette. Viper acr extreme has no supercharger or turbocharger where as the corvette Zo6 is supercharged, both v10 and yet the viper beats the corvette

Man, it sucks to know I'll never get to own one of these wild beasts, I'm too dirt poor to even test one out, but at least there's plenty of videos on KZfaq to admire them from a distance. Everyone who owns a Viper should consider themselves very lucky, I know for a fact I would. This has been my dream car since I first saw it on Gran Turismo for the PlayStation, I was 7 at the time and even then I knew it would be my favorite for a lifetime. I hope that before I die I at least get to ride in one.

I always look at the viper the same way I look at a jeep Wrangler. It's loud, it's noisy, it's uncomfortable, but there's something about it that makes you love it more than any other car.

You are 100% right. Horse Thief Mile worked for shoot purposes but the Viper definitely would've felt more at home on Big Willow. Next time...

I hope FCA will bring it back once again to rival the Corvette C8 and the Ford GT. Either as a front or mid engined Supercar. And be back with these new packages and improvements: -iconic 8.0L V10 now modernised; DOHC, Variable Valve Timing, 40valve, cylinder deactivation mode and around 700hp @ 1200Nm -Automatic transmission now an option (10spd with Tiptronic manual mode) -optional AWD -6 SRS airbag system -more sophisticate Traction Control with ESP -more modern touchscreen tech and goodies akin to Ford MySnch enfoinment -optional mild hybrid variant may follow soon

Fantastic Review. Micah needs more views. This is by far the best Viper review. I would rather the viper than the new C7 Corvette. Porsche has gone the way of GTR now. GTR is still nothing but a GTR. The Shelby does not strike in the looks department or so much the handling. Viper wins for me, however Im not done enjoying the e46 M3...yet !! Gr8 Work KBB !!

How bad is the seating position and the rattles with the step up version? I'd actually consider getting one since I love the power and manual shifter and the fact it's supposed to actually have good handling now. I don't know about the blind spots, noise, and bad ergonomics though.

Oh it really is quite comfortable, and the visibility is okay, though certainly not exceptional. But it is so much fun, you should get one, it is totally worth it.

This is my TRUE dream car. I love every aspect of it and think it's awesome. Though I love it so much, I'm afraid that I probably won't be able to ever get one that's just the way I want it because I heard that this beauty is going out in 2017... I'm really sad about that... :-( At the moment though, I am considering getting a Dodge Stealth for a first car that I could actually afford. The Stealth reminds me a lot of the Viper, and even has some aspects that I think it handled better... of course I've never driven one and probably won't for at least a year, but I still think It's worth the wait.

Viper coupe with Hellcat drag motor would have been a world beater. Think Challenger HC with 1,000 less pounds and an aero body. 180 mph plus for the standing mile? 220 plus Vmax??

i love the viper its my favorite car, i would pick it over anything else. for the price you get alot of car, reliable, fast, the looks, the luxury, and most of all if 650/600 is not enough its over designed so you can bolt up a supercharger without any other modification. for people who like to hot rod cars, viper is king. you cant do that to a ferrari. which by the way fiat owns srt. its a win win.

well unfortunately the Price of the GTS (if you want to compete with a ZR1 or GTR) is a little discouraging (130,000$+) with all the upgrades prices reach near 150,000$!!! for a "non" daily driver with little usable storage space. i like the GTS but when compared to the ZR1 (which is faster and easier to aftermarket modding) i think i would GO zr1 for 112K rather than 130,000K the 6.2L is also in top best engines EVER built thats why you can get 1500 HP out of a 6.2.

with a large turbo / supercharger on it they have put out put around 700 HP which is pretty crazy but the 8L engine is not the best for aftermarket modding. no doubt its a vary nice super car!

BMan100 I just drove it...It's absolutely INSANE! I mean yeah the cabin got too damn hot,my feet were crusting and then since i was wearing shorts,my leg was on the metal thing (Forgot what it was called) and burnt myself...Those are the cons but it is a V10 lmao. 10/10 Fucking beast!

BMan100 I think if you throw in an extra thousand or two,you can get the Hellcat.IMO i love the Challengers anyway,especially the '69-'70. Problem about Dodge cars is the weight...It's just too damn fat!

Heatless but at least the transmission won't blow like the MT82...and to be honest I don't think I would take a Hellcat to be honest lol. the 392 is just right I think...I can get all the nicer stuff the Hellcat has..and trust me in Canada...the hellcat has a base price of 72,000$ CDN..BECAUSE THEY LOAD UP THE CARS FOR OUR MARKET... so yeah.. 58 grand will get me a nice 392..but I am debating.. the bright white again? or that Jazz blue pearl....ohhh god I am torn..
