Fix Or Repair Daily... this warning label is right on the vehicle what were u expecting

My 2015 Fusion had the same clunk going into reverse all of the time, even after warmed up. Initially, going into drive it’s self was fine for me. However, 1st to 2nd gear came with a bad hesitation and 2nd to 3rd came with a clunk. Also, downshifting from 6 to 5 was bad. I took it to the same ford dealer twice, and they told me it was normal. After time, I took it to another and they told me that I had a very bad Valve Body. Thankfully, because I caught it in time at 47,000 miles with only 3,000 miles left in my 5 yr / 50,000 powertrain warrantee, it has been fixed under warrantee.

Your lucky you caught it in time. My 2013 ford escape which I bought when it first came out I always maintained it And at 60,000 miles had the dealer flush and replace the tranny fluid at 80,000 miles highway miles made a left turn at a light and it slipped and was only able to get it to the gas station crawling when I put it in park it keeps rolling . So I know its shot I heard it's going to cost 5 grand to fix it because its not under warranty I'm not a happy camper This happened to many other people with less miles as soon as the warranty is done that's when they go

My transmission went out instantly no warning brand new transmission put in 1st and 2nd hit hard rest smooth.

So then I took it to Howell Ford in Greentown, IN and their trans guy knew what he was doing. He said rebuild the trans and they did it under warrantee. i am now very happy with my Escape.

Replace your transmission fluid

Mines shift slow and jerks hard when shifting. I live in NC. I have to drive fast because that's how it is down here. I don't know what to do... My escape 2014 SE ecoboost has had the turbo replaced, airbags replaced, seat belts replaced. It has 180k miles.

My Escape is doing the same thing, their is a problem with a solenoid. Ford knows about this problem.

Valve body guys

Take to Ford ASAP. Just paid $4000 for transmission rebuild. It's actually your torque converter. My trans and TC failed at 80K miles, as has many others. Also, I looked this up online a little over a month ago when it happened and there were 1200 complaints on this issue then I looked it up this week and there are now 40. I think something fishy is going on here. I've driven Fords for 15 years and this is my last one which is sad.

The problem is, you bought a Ford.

My tranmission socks. They want $5500 to repair it. Bought the car from Car Max. Lasted 4 months. They won't help.

Take your battery terminals off, let sit or take it to ford and tell the to reset your ecu and then drive it 10 miles. Find somewhere to park and park then put it in reverse and hold for 10 seconds, then put it in drive and hold it for 10 seconds then park. Mine was the ecu was off and wasnt working its self out. It had to be re calibrated. I have the sct tuner on my escape so all I did was reset the car from it and did this process and it's back to shutting normal. Transmission was serviced by me and will never be flushed because flushing it does cause them to slip. Almost 80,000 miles and it's running stronger than ever

Let your vehicle warm up to operation temp! Simple as that. Not to mention temperatures effect modern fluids more due to the manufacturer tolerance! It's not just Ford idiots it's all manufactures! Maybe learn how things operation before you cry about it's performance.
