I have the 180hp 2.0 diesel Kuga 4x4 with the powershift dual-clutch gearbox. Although the official 0-100kph figure is something like 9.8 seconds, it hits 100kph in 8.9 seconds on a piece of dry, straight road. Although some people comment these figures aren't that impressive, it always depends on what you're comparing them with in the same sector and in the same price bracket. Obviously there are lots of 4x4's which can beat 8.9 seconds, but very few which could be directly comparable. These new Ford diesel engines are also incredibly clean, so good for the environment. Plus where I live, and because of it's low CO2 emissions, it costs me less than £60 ($100) a year in road tax. All that said, I still prefer my Supercharged V8 (petrol) Range Rover when I want a bit of fun. That weighs the same as a small planet but hits 100kph in 4.9 seconds. But then I could have bought nearly 4 Kuga's for the same money so it's all relative!

Actually its not 1680kg, but 1750kg. That's what you get to realize when you buy one, from the import papers. that goes for 2wd. 4wd is probably heavier. This model is prob 1800kg. What they say in the prospects is not entirely true. I thought that was a mistake, but the dealer confirmed. The car is a tank, and it actually drives pretty good for its weight.

Well lets say this its enough for everyday but not for doing races but i dont think you will use a Ford Kuga for racing but more for shopping or for holidays and something like that so

It needs 180hp. Than it stands on 140hp with its weight!
