I didn’t watch the whole video prior to my message. I see now that you are aware of both side covers and the black gas cover coming off all at once, and I do see the benefit of pulling just 1 Pushpin because then you can just remove one side cover but then I noticed that you still did pull it all off in one piece meaning both side covers and gas tank top, so now I am wondering why you even removed the push pin on the one side but not the other ? I will be following your channel for more information and I believe I heard you say your emails is listed below, which I didn’t see yet which is great because I would like to maybe possibly ask you some questions because you are a qualified mechanic unlike myself keep up the good work thanks for the videos Thomas.

I think the reason that the dipsticks very is because you’re showing at 420 FM 1 and I believe mine is a 420 FA2 DCT, does the rancher in your video have DCT dual clutch transmission ? Hope I’m not bombarding you with too many questions but you asked lol thanks again Thomas.

When checking the oil your not supposed to screw the dipstick in! The manual says 2.9 quarts of oil!

Question for you, I just inherited a 2014 Honda rancher trx. I have a dipstick on the drivers side and a fill spot on the passengers side where the filter is. My FIL changed the oil before I got it but on the dipstick on the drivers side it’s gone dry but where he put the oil on the passengers side it’s almost overflowing… any ideas on this. ??

Hello in regards to your video it shows you pulling the pushpins out to remove the side body panel from the gas tank. I have a 2014 and you can remove both side panels with the black gas tank cover by popping the three pushpins out on the side covers one at the bottom, one at the side where the cover joins the body by the seat and one up behind the Honda emblem then both side panels come off along with the black gas tank top all at once wondering why you pulled a push pin out when you could’ve just removed everything without removing with the pushpins , is your method just another way of doing it or are you not familiar with them coming off all in one piece ? Any info would be appreciate it because I just picked up the 2014 but do not have the owners manual. Any help would be greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Do you have to replace the oil filter every time you do an oil change on a rancher? Seems like a pain to take all the plastics off just for the filter
