Richard Avina I have been trying to figure out if I should go with eibach lift kit or icon but then found these!! Not sure what to do now

@@Drewfastfx2 I'm not familiar with either of those options. I can tell you though that the RC 2.5 is more of a aesthetic vs. performance. Like the owner of this Jeep, I did it for my wife and she loves it. Came out great and rides like stock. I noticed a drop in mpg but nothing too bad. I also added a cargo roof rack to make it even a bit more beefier.

That was the only hesitation I had buying the -6 offset rims, but it's grown on me the longer it's on there.

I really like the tires we put on. Decent price, aggressive, and can stay on all year long.

Taylor, what offset and backspace are you using with the KM651's? Also how much trimming did you have to do? Looking to do that same setup.

Thanks man! Ride quality is still great, it's very smooth. I was averaging about 21.5 mpg stock, it's evened out to about 19.5 right now. That's honestly the biggest change I've noticed.

These can be installed by the owner however, the left side drivers axle has to come out for ease of installation.

I will have a few rocks stick here and there, but it'll usually spit them out in the fender well so it doesn't affect the paint. I don't go off-road very often, but no issues so far.

What issues have you heard about? I've put 130k miles on my '14 and only had the radiator replaced, under warranty.

@@MrShores87 just random reliability issues and then the whole transmission or shifter debacle.

As long as you've had the valve body of the 850RE trans and UC replaced under the recall, the 14s are good. The Hemi and Ecodiesel had very few problems since it ran the 8HP70 trans.

That's disappointing to hear. So far their durability seems good, been over a year and a few off road trips with no issues.

I lost a couple mpg, but still does over 22-24 on the highway, 16-18 in the city.

This one did not have the air suspension

I've had it checked twice. Once after 50-100 just to ensure nothing went loose after install. Another probably at 2000 miles. Haven't checked it since then, but haven't had any issues with it.

I like how it sits, looking to add on some new goodies here in the near future.

@@Aleahhellolove. the lift came out good. Had the dealership install it. Haven't upgraded my tires yet since i still have some meat on the current set. If i end up keeping my stock 17" rims, i was looking to do 275/70/17s. By my research, they should work w/o cutting the wheel well liner. 265/70/17s will be my default if the 275s cause rubbing. 265s will definitely work w/o issues. The stock tires on my Laredo are 245s & all other GC models w/upgraded 18" wheels come stock w/265s

Depends on how much trimming you want to do in the fender. Mine are just shy of a 32, any bigger and you may need to trim more than just the splash guards.

The KO2s are pretty smooth, not much road noise. I also have a Wrangler, and even with the lift, it's still a smoothe ride. No rattling or anything, I'm happy with it so far.

It's holding up great, I hardly notice a lift kit is even installed, still a very smooth ride.

18s would still look great. I just like having a nice amount of sidewall showing haha.

@@matthewstark9491 if I go with 17x9 -12 offset 255 70 tires will it rub the inside fender on stock suspension?

@@RydrdgI wouldn't think so, you may have to trim the fender liner like I did, but I don't think you'd have to do much more than that. Don't quote me, though haha.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat, doesn't feel clunky at all. Still has a nice smooth ride you can use as a daily driver if you desire

Mine are 17x9 or 9.5, so I wouldn't foresee you having any problems.

Cost me just over $2000 for everything, including installation.

I would go with the RRO 2.75” deluxe kit. Raises the front AND rear keeping the factory rake. That way when you’re towing your trailer your headlights won’t be pointed at Mars. $295 for the kit, nothing else needed.

I lost a couple mpg, nothing crazy though. Daily use is great, that's what it's mainly used for anyway. Gear box might have a little more stress, but I haven't noticed any major changes. It doesn't feel like it's struggling or anything like that.

City it's now running about 16, highway is pretty good at about 23ish. Combined sitting at about 18. Just depends on how and where you drive it, and it's very possible the bigger tires have more effect on mpg than the actual lift itself.

@@matthewstark9491 gotcha thanks mine is a 3.6V6 and I have a aftermark K&N cold air intake on it and I threw some black running boards on it. My lift is currently sitting in the backseat that will be put on next week and my 1.5 spacers are coming tomorrow. I went with the rough country lift. Prior to all this I was getting over 30 highway but I'm putting so much weight on it I knew it would happen with the gas mileage I also installed a Reese hitch looking at a bull bar I'll have to do a video and show it off. It was only rubbing on the lining. On the front passenger side, also had to tuck a few wires back a little bit, but that was it.

You add them without a lift?

It's been a year, haven't had any issues so far, I'm very pleased with how smooth the ride continues to be.

No, I didn't have to do any modifications other than trim the fender lining.

Ride quality is still great. No issues with control arms or struts, riding as smooth now as day 1

I wanted to go 275, but it's not as common a size and was cheaper to go 265. Other part I was unsure of was whether I'd have to trim anything further with the 275, so just decided 265 to be safe.

Held up great so far! No alignment issues.

I did look at both of those, none of them seemed like a bad option. I don't do a lot of off-roading, just needed something to change the look, so the RC was great value and serves the purpose I had for it.

@@matthewstark9491 I've done some beach driving but it's more of an appearance thing for me. Just wondering if I need a new control arm with the lift

@@drew7223 You don't need one with the RC, don't believe you need one with the RRO either. If it sat any higher it might be a good idea though.

It's all one kit. It lifts the front 2.5 inches and lifts the back 1, so it makes the vehicle sit level.

After everything, yes, the vehicle was aligned and drives straight down the road. Haven't had issues so far. I wish I could send you a picture of the CV, but from the research I had done for the WK2, as long as you're not lifting the suspension more than 3-4 inches, nothing from the factory suspension should be affected. It's only been about 4 thousand miles since the lift, but no issues so far.

It depends on what specific lit kit you buy, wheel and tire combo, labor, etc. I spent about $2300 for this whole setup, though.

Rough Country has a 2.5 lift kit for $160

@@mguerrero8787 The lift kit was the cheapest part if the setup. Rims, Tires, and labor shot the price up. So if you can install yourself, you'll save a big chunk.

The further negative you go, the more it sticks out. Positive will be bring it in and be more flush with the body/fender.

Haven't had any rubbing issues. I don't do serious off-roading, but it handles trails and and rougher roads with no issue.
