We had a special guest in the house today for a dyno tune on his Gen 2 ZX14R. Current mods are a Brock's Performance Alien Head and Sprint P08 F1-85 air filter.

I always see your posts on the zx14 fb group. Cool video. Did you dyno tune it, or just upload a flash and compare. Either way solid gains

We tuned it. So the baseline pull we made was the way it came in, minus swapping the filter out before we started tuning it. The PC5 had a canned tune from dynojet in it. After that we zero'd the power commander so it wasn't doing anything, and put our mail in flash in it. It made a little over half the gains... Then I worked it over and got the rest of it dialed in to get the final gains shown at the end. He came back by today and told me it rides like a completely different bike. 💪

We tuned it through the ecu. We don't use the power commander unless we have to.

@TEAMWRIGHTEOUS right on, man. Thanks for the explanation. Tbh, I would have wanted to remove that pc5. They fail so often. I had issues with mine, even zeroed out. Went with a (Woolich) custom tune with mine, night and day difference. Thanks for the video

@@MrJayjay0420 yeah, he probably will later on down the road. Both of his bikes have them. We're doing some testing with his second bike and he may sell both of them soon.

Subscribed! Nice video. I've heard that when a bike is stretched that it loses HP because of the added length. Is there any truth to this? Thanks

That's the theory behind it... I've never actually put a swb bike on the dyno, then stretched it and tested it again... I have dyno tuned a stock wheel bike and then added a 240 Kit to it and retested. That video is up on my channel. I was definitely proven wrong with that one. Lol
