Hello everyone! Right here I have a video on the second generation Nissan Qashqai. This video was filmed in the UK, hence it is a UK-spec car.
As mentioned in the video, here is the list of Qashqai variants available in the UK as of 26th November 2014. I listed them in order of the cheapest to the most expensive.

when you are driving do you notice the additional 20-30 inches this car has when compared to a car more along the lines of a city car (fiesta ecoboost etc) also great review really learnt alot about this car i had no idea about :D

with a small engine and it being a big car how does it manage going up steep hills? is it a struggle?

It's a big struggle, cruise control shuts off because the engine can't keep up

We have had an issue where the car burned oil (1.2 dig-t). We couldn't get from one maintenance to the other without refilling the oil. So, there was an investigation started and Nissan themselves said the oil consumption was 'normal'. Come on, it's a brand-new car and it shouldn't burn oil. After 2 years of refilling Nissan allowed our dealer to replace the entire engine after they found scratches on the cylinder wall. So, don't buy the 1.2 DIG-T

I have this car - but the 1.5 dCi diesel Acenta Premium trim in Ink Blue. Totally loved it. But I'm soon down-sizing to a Juke 1.2 DiG-T Petrol. The new 2015 facelift model. Any chance you can do a video review on it? Your reviews are awesome, thorough and very informative! :) Thanks!

Dominic Joseph Thanks! I find the Qashqai a better looking car than the Juke though. ;) I don't think I can find a Juke to film unless I know someone who owns it. Unless, when you get your Juke, I could film it if you're located in the UK and you're up for it?

+alexlovesmac Yeah, sure. Not a problem. I loved the Qashqai too. But 90% of the time it's only me in the car, I decided to downsize. It should arrive early July. About 8 weeks max. As I've added on lots of extra tech, the exterior plus packs and sunroof. It's the new 1.2DiG-T turbo petrol. You're welcome to use it to review. I'm in Worcestershire, not far from Birmingham West Midlands.

Dominic Joseph Fair enough reason for a downsize. =). That's fantastic! May I just ask which trim did you get this time for your Juke? I'm based in Cambridge, so it should about 130 miles to get to where you are. Do let me know when your car arrives.

I will do. I'll keep you updated. I went for try Acenta Premium. Not keen on leather interior. However, I added on the Nissan Safety Shield Technology Pack, Sunroof, and Exterior Plus Pack. So basically that makes the car the exactly the same as the top of the range Tekna trim (minus the leather seats that come as standard in Tekna).

What a waste the electric parking brake does not have an auto-hold function. Otherwise that feature would be a nice touch to the Qashqai.

Joey Wood The first generation Qashqai forms the base for the first generation Rogue. The second generation Rogue is essentially a rebadged X-Trail.
