I installed and used it for a while, but before I could make a video showing it in my truck, a semi rolled over in front of my shop and totaled my truck. I have a brief photo of my smashed truck in my latest video about my outside air compressor intake. I used the hemi air box for a compressor filter. I still have the floor, but no truck to put it in now.

I believe most of the fact we wires run up the passenger side. If I remember there's like a 12-pin connector tan plastic on the back left side. Otherwise if you feel like taking a couple of panels off and looking for it. Otherwise not too far from the connection on the seat itself.

Yes I believe the express is the lowest one is what I have I believe the highest one is longhorn. I'm guessing from my experience it's cheaper for the manufacture just to make one wire harness and it's just a matter of plugging in options. Seems like everything's already in the ECU it's just a matter of programming to turn on and off options

Anthony Papa Yep. Cars have always been like this. My Dad and I redid a ‘68 Camaro, and everything was there for every option. On that harness, unused plugs for options were taped over.

Can only speak for my year. My opinion typically it's a different wire harness that will plug in where your feet go or door to body connection. Can usually find one on eBay pretty cheap. For 20 or $30 more personally I would go from the dealer. Sorry hope that helped

You can just pull the white cover off and you can change the bulbs if they're like the oem ones. I put some led bulbs in mine and they're very bright.

To use those wires you would have to get the OEM amp and wire it in. Easier just to go aftermarket Mount the amp behind the back seat

What I've learned from other videos. Is the mirror comes wired the module is already in the door. But then you have to have the dealer add the sales code. The other thing I've seen to make sure you do is get the bracket that holds the extra weight of the mirror. I hope that helps give me another question if you got it

They say you need the bracket. Been running without the bracket for three years no issues. Dealer flashes module.

They sell OE harnesses which in my opinion a very expensive. I just got a aftermarket Android radio with backup camera hookup. Also purchased Bowie looking back up camera that replaces your tailgate handle you have to run the wires to the front of the truck inside to the radio. Works fine and a lot cheaper than trying to buy a joey harness or some website that charges $300 for a harness

Infotainment.com or .net sells a bunch of aftermarket plug n play things for our rams. One of them being the back up camera. The whole harness and everything is roughly 1,000 we r getting it for my girls 17 express my 18 express has back up camera thank god

The plug hook up is actually under the radio but everything under the seat has to be wired and you going to need the OEM inverter

I guess modifying the instrument panel would be next if the button is not there. Would a fuse be also need to be installed in the fuses case? The one next to the battery.

If you're talkin about the plug yes it's made to go into the OE and then you would have to connect it to an amp system if you don't have the Bose system. I hope that answers your question

So if my truck doesn’t come with the alpine system I can’t just get the factory sub and plug it in? I saw your video and ordered a sub box plug it in but it didn’t work so my question is I would just need to get an after market amp then to make it work?

Actually every light on the truck is Led there's so many videos I just didn't make one just make sure you get the can bus compatible ones. And I went with hid on the headlights and fog lights

@@ArnoldsDesign saves you the trouble from hours of searching for canbus led lights, pretty much buy any one that fits and you can tell the BCM it has led and not halogen. Almost all my lights are led. Just bought the footwell lights. Being Canadian. The conversion just for shipping was crazy lol
