+Manuel Rdz. What do think of some road courses that are transitions of present road courses and ovals? (I mean average speed) Tricky for the drivers but battles and the finishes would be so amazing! Imagine Monza before 1972 even with the oval section, or Tripoli, or the 14 km long Spa, or Le Mans from 1967! USA has got the money to build bigger tracks. :)

"Kurt Busch won here in 2011, and Harvick's only road course win came in 2006" Ironically, that race was dominated by Kurt Busch until pit road mishaps late cost him a shot at the win.

Brazilians are passionate about racing cars, but has no races in Brazil with these supercars, only runs with tourism cars. People in Brazil have come to know these supercars playing Gran Turismo and Forza. But see in real life, the real car is much more fun and exciting.

Does anyone have a NASCAR rule-book handy? Whats with all the corner cutting at the hairpin?
@justthatcuberguy979 жыл бұрын
peteyc226 it is not really corner cutting, that are going as tight as they can around the corner to get more grip because there is more down there, and to shave of a few hundreths of a second per lap
@peteyc2269 жыл бұрын
tyler durham They have two wheels over the line. Almost every car on every lap. Thats cutting. You can't cut the corner just because there's better grip. I honestly think NASCAR just doesn't know how to officiate road courses. I see guys get away with it at the Glen every year too.
@TheRelentlessTroll9 жыл бұрын
peteyc226 As long as they don't go behind the tires like Island Funk said, It's legal.
@peteyc2269 жыл бұрын
TheRelentlessTroll One of these days they should move the curbing back a few feet then so that you can't get 4 tires over it without hitting the tires. IndyCar, which uses the shorter hairpin you can see in the background there, aren't allowed to have 4 wheels over the curbing. If thats not the boundary, then there shouldn't be a line there. Thanks for the info though.
@TheRelentlessTroll9 жыл бұрын
peteyc226 Why should they? What does it do besides move the line a little further out? It's not really a huge difference.
