This is why people get into this sport,after watching performances like this. We were watching the the recap one night and my dad was like watch these two in particular. I'm so glad I did, I've honestly never seen anything like this. It clearly looked like they were having a good time and the sheer trust she had to have in him. Magical.

Meryl and Charlie are the best ice dancers I've ever seen. They have the entire package. Not just artistry, but technical difficulty and athleticism as well. Just beautiful. We miss you Meryl and Charlie!!!

I love Torvill and Dean their Bolero from 1984 set the stage for Meryl & Charlie to be so exquiste

I liked the dress Meryl wore in the olympics better than this dress, I just loved the long flowy sleeves. But I really loved this routine, it's just one of those really iconic routines that people will remember for years.

starsmoon0216 Yes, they are wonderful in person. Meryl looks more beautiful in person. They do come to Hershey and they were somewhere in NJ. I don't know where. That's when they were doing SOI and DWTS @ the same time.

They both are so graceful, They sync up like a mirrors reflection. They clearly practiced good. I love seeing figure skating in pairs. I love how people sync up or one has to trust the other to toss them up in the air. Figure skating is such a beautiful and graceful sport and art.

The Olympic dress was inspired by the time period that My Fair Lady is set in. Early 1900s.

God I hate this SD music so much but their pattern dance is so light and captured the “bubbly champagne” quality of Finnstep. Their growth in the 2010-2014 quad was phenomenal and really the best and closest rivals to VM (PC didn’t compete enough against VM)

I think Tanith slipped when commenting on this program. She said something like Meryl and Charlie wanted to do the last lift for their fans for the last time, etc........ They will not be competing.

After a lot of research I discovered the singer on Charlie and Meryl's My Fair Lady dance music is Martine McCutcheon, who played Eliza Doolittle in the 2001 London Cast Revival. There is an entire CD of all the songs, and there is a KZfaq video of Martine McCutcheon singing I Could Have Danced All Night. Martine's voice is as clear as a bell, yet light as a feather! Unbelievable! The joining of her voice and their delicate dancing is pure genius! Love, Love, Love!
