The models are beautifully designed and flown by superb modelers! For the rubber "Wakefield" F1B planes, note the use of Delayed Prop Release (DPR) mechanisms - the model is launched hard with the propeller not turning at first. After gaining 15-20 feet just from the initial throw, a clutch mechanism engages and the rubber motor starts turning the propeller for the flight.

I enjoyed the video but question your choice of music, but I guess that's what the mute button is for. Cheers

F1A F1B F1Cの競技の様子をこんなに詳細に見ることが出来る最初の動画ではないでしょうか？ 手から放たれた機体のプロペラが回り始めて自力上昇を始めるシーンはスロー動画ならではですね。 強風のため、３分もフライトした機体の回収はさぞかし大変だったことでしょう。 でも、参加されている方々の笑顔から当日の会場の雰囲気が伝わってきます。 さっすが名カメラマン。 ナイスです。
