It was shocking to see there was no solder on any of those pins. Hope this is what wrong with yours and it fixes it.

Thank you, When i did the video, i didn't think about showing that part. But I was asked that, so i made a second video of how I did the power. Check it out it will show that detail part. But pretty much what I did is i bought a wiring kit for an electric cut out for exhaust with a two-way momentary switch off eBay. To add the power, i used a power port plug like the cigarette lighter plug and plug it into the port in the center console. I did it that way, so i wasn't tapping into any wire on the car. Plus, the plug is fused, so if i had any problems, that would pop before the car fuse would. I've had no issues doing it this way. Works great every time

Nice thank you!! One thing is I'm definitely no electrician, but if you had a visual picture on how to wire the wiring kit attaches to the active exhaust outside Servo motor. You did well showing the inside motor wiring process to the servo motor. I just don't know how that would look like wired up with the outside. Thanks again for your time..

In the other video i show the stuff i used and showed where i ran the wire and installed the switch and power plug. The kit is already pre wired so the only electrical work would be putting the plug on the motors and wire kit and making the wire a little longer to reach the center console if you choose to use that power port

That's a good question. I used the Gorilla Glue epoxy. And it seems to be good. I haven't had any issues with it. There is also a small heat shield where it bolts in the place, which helps with the heat.

No, the reason is that on the active exhaust one of the tips is a straight through and is closed off when not being used or opened. On your Borlas exhaust its not going to have that same set up. If you take the active part off your stock exhaust and had it welded on you could make it quieter but not louder if that is what you are trying to do, then that is an option. The only way to make it louder if that is what you are shooting for then you would need to install a cutout before the muffler under the car.

To a Momentary toggle switch plugged into the powerport in the center console. I have a video of how I did that. Check that out it will show how I ran it and what I used.

Might be a dumb question, but are they opening all the way. On mine, it is a noticeable difference from open to close. I know when i first put the motor on, i had that wire piece that connects it to the baffles in wrong, and it didn't work right. If not opening right, i would say start there.

I used the Roush rear diffuser for the quad tip exhaust. Google Roush performance. They have a bunch of performance parts and body parts. I found it on their website. And if you are unsure of installation I made a video showing how I did it. Also CJ pony parts made a video of installing it as well.

No the exhaust was a direct fit. And the tips fell nice and center. Was a simple swap out. I will be making a video of how I ran my power. I've had a few ask that question.

I just looked up the way a camaro servos are. I would say yes that it would be the same. Would have to take it apart and do the direct connection from the motor to the wiring plug. But I'm sure it's doable.

Sorry no. Since my is a 16 I bypass all the electronics of the car. I'm sure you have already but have you searched it to see if anyone has pasted any info on that? Or talked to you local ford dealer to see if they can help in any way?

I ran it to the power port and the center console. That's why nothing was hardwired. But you can run it to either one the battery fuse box or how I did it. The toggle switch is a 6 pin so you can reverse the polarity. And it has to be a momentary toggle switch so once you let it go it automatically goes into the off position. Which I bought off eBay that specifically for exhaust cutouts. It came with plenty of wire and the switch pre-wired I just added the connector to plug it into that port.

@@bluedakota80 okay cool!... you were able to use only one switch for both of the motors?? What type gauge wire did you use for this? And is there anything else you did through out the wiring process that was not recorded on the video?

@@driftblock3504 Yes I used the one switch for both sides. You can get single a dual exhaust kits. If you go on eBay and type in electric exhaust cutout switch there are complete kits. Will come with the switch and plenty of wire to run to the back of the car. The gauge wire is 18 I think. Don't buy the wireless ones. Most of those are preset for after market one and have to long of a duration time. Witch is not good for the motors. Out side of that it's was pretty straight forward mount the switch hook to your motor and pick witch way you want to power it. I used the power port so if it popped a fuse it was only on that and not anything else. Plus I can unplug it if I want to so if I take it in for service I don't have to worry about anyone playing with it.

@@bluedakota80 thanks for the reply! That’s is pretty cool. So what your saying is you wired it up to a power port plug so you can connect and disconnect from the cigarette lighter ? I have a 2018 mustang gt which I’m doing this soon! Just waiting on my active exhaust shipment.

@@driftblock3504 yes it was the easiest route for a power source. And they don't take that much power or apps so it work with out any problems.
