@@meromero6267 its a little louder than stock. I sold the car already. If you want a loud exhaust, I would go a different route.

Brandon Chin definitely more raspy, I have borla ataks so idk how much the mufflers are contributing to it. They do sound deep in low rpms

Greg45Pz yeah the h pipe gives it a deeper tone cutting out the rasp, but since it’s deeper it’s not as loud

I got flowmaster outlaws on my 2020 GT paired with an H pipe instead of the X and I definitely am happier with the H. the x pipe does sound good and sporty and I like both sounds but I personally wanted the deeper H sound over the X. Great bud!

Well I think that exhaust sounds better than the more expensive Borla and Corsa

Honestly, I'm a huge fan of the exhaust note for the MBRP. Never really been a fan too much of the Corsa or Borla setups

Isnt it straight pipe when in track mode? I would think track mode is significantly louder than stock track mode since on the mbrp website it says straight through on track mode. Just ordered this for mine so thanks for the video. Needed the options of active valve as my wife drives it and we have a baby. ☺️

K Singh it’s not really straight pipe in track because it still passes through the mufflers. And when at full throttle is when you really notice the difference between the two!

I just installed mine following ur video. Very helpful. One thing im struggling with is getting the mufflers to sit level. The outside tips side on both mufflers seem to hang lower then the inside tips so its not level. Im guessing i need to turn the hanger sideways rather than just leaving it point downwards like the original.

Did you try a x pipe with that set up? I hear you get a more raspy tone over H pipe but what you have there sounds real mean

X-Pipe definitely adds volume and rasp for sure! Sounds good in my opinion just takes away that really deep tone I think MBRP was going for

Glad this helped! I put the motor exactly the same way it came out of the stock exhaust. You may want to check a fuse on the car to make sure it didn’t blow the fuse for it

Honestly no since the mbrp pro uses built in resonators. Now if you switch to something like Borla s types or ataks then yes that will sound way louder.

Dont suppose you could describe how much louder than stock active exhaust this is is there? Can you drive quietly with quiet mode, or is it lots louder across the board

No, quiet mode is extremely quiet. Once you open up the valves, gives it a nice loud tone

Where did you reconnect the little L bracket on the actuator when you reinstalled it onto the new muffler?

What exactly do you mean? I use the original mounting brackets for each side for the exhaust valve actuators

@@BrandonChinn On the wiring harness that plugs into the actuator, there’s an L bracket that was connected to one of the bolts for the actuator on the stock exhaust.

Definitely much louder then stock for sure! It keeps a nice deep tone to it so since its not raspy it won't be as loud as Roush or Borla but it makes a dramatic difference for sure I'd say!

im curious how different the mufflers are to the stock active mufflers. Like if you did ah pipe res delete wouldnt it be the same sound?

They are two different mufflers completely. A mid resonator delete wouldn’t give them the same sound at all. The active as a much more free flowing setup once the valve is open giving it a much louder and deeper tone

Not exactly sure what you mean by “lope”? Like a cam or ghost cam? I haven’t heard that on the non active version and it doesn’t have that on the active version

@@BrandonChinn Yes like a Cam. I heard it on CJ pony parts video of the Non active but it could because the A/c was on so at idle it increases the rev band a tad giving it that Faux Cam? Also this product is good quality when you unboxed?

@@eremyjay hmm that’s interesting. Never noticed a lope or cam sound on it. But otherwise it was pristine on unboxing
