fun40sxx I'll ask my friend, but the stock clutch on these ST's are really stout. He just dynoed at over 400whp this past Saturday.

peak power is at 5,800 rpm so its pointless redlining the car. learn how the car works before you post something you know nothing about.

@@waltonnufc gotta remember that this isn't a stock turbo car. The power band is probably a lot higher up with the upgraded turbo, but for a stock turbo ST I agree

waltonnufc Sorry brother I completely disagree with you. If a Ran Stock VS Stock St Race with you I can put money I’d pull on you just from your lack of shifting properly. And @stoofast said it perfectly. ESPECIALLY when the car is modded shifting early like this is foolish. We’re not trying to safe gas mileage here guy. Lmao go ahead and shift your car at 5800 during your races there big guy!

@@waltonnufc I have a ST 2018 and I pull hard till redline. I have no problem beating other st that shift under 6k. The car keeps pulling just not full on power but use the redline and see how it works. Maybe push the car you own before shit talking to a person who probably never drove a ST and wonder why some shift that way.

Damn, Gapped. I have the same exact setup on my ST, except I have Meth injection. I'm making 410whp, but this Mustang sounds stock and runs like stock for sure. I've ran a few full bolton 5.0s, including my own full bolton 5.0 driven by my friend and it's a lot different man. I think this Coyote was stock or had a crappy tune from BAMA lol. He needs to get tuned by LUND or AED and open up his exhaust because it sounds stock and runs like stock in this video. Your friend will be surprised when he runs a Coyote with a good tune and full boltons. He'll get pulled real hard from that 30 roll and won't come back. 50 roll is our money roll because we're starting in 3rd and we can hook up a lot better from that speed, so it'll be closer. The coyotes with a 3.73 gear and full boltons with cobra jet manifold are monsters up top though, and will beat us from that 50 roll because they can rev out to near 8k rpm in 2nd gear from that speed lol.

Oh god.... I’m all for the focus st but this isn’t a thing lol. My stock 5.0 gapped three stage 2 focus’s. Stop to go and two 20 rolls lol. Who the hell does a 30 and a 40 roll anyways 🙄 My wrx could’ve sparked that car.

fleashman keep in mind that this is not a stock ST. It has a turbo upgrade and was putting down around 370-390whp which is about what a stock 5.0 makes.

In the wacky world of ST stage 2 is Jack shit, FMI, tune, new pipes upper and lower. Stage 3 is big turbo. But even owning a 2018 ST I still dont believe@ stage 3 it would beat a bolt on or tuned 5.0. I think this was a 3.7 badged up. I see it all the time and ran STs in my 2014 v6 mt and ran ST down all day stock to stock so you would have to make a huge number more of power in the st to beat a 5.0 or the drivers always suck. I'll say both lol
