I think what we all really want is a pure street racing movie. No outrageous vehicular acrobatics, no massive heists, no international super villains. Just drivers, fast cars, and a finish line. It also helps that this movie used practical effects as opposed to excessive CGI.

This movie did not only made me fall in love with Koenigsegg but also the corner king SESTO ELEMENTO which means sixth element in Italian that happens to be carbon making this car weigh almost nothing in ratio to it's power and this fact alone made me love this car even more 😎🤞🏼❤️

@@bloodedge1528 Elemento Griefers in Hot Pursuit's multiplayer has honestly made me come to hate the Sesto Elemento, they make online matches fucking unbearable. But funny enough, the Elemento being driven by Dino, being the bad guy, is unironically fitting. I'm not sure if Elemento Griefers were a thing back in the original 2010 Hot Pursuit, but if not, it's a scary level of coincidence how they've come about now after this movie. Same car, driven by bad guys lol

The Saleen S7 is the only car that hasn't appeared in the NFS games. The GTA Spank appeared in NFS Rivals. The Sesto Elemento was in Hot Pursuit, The Run, and Rivals, the Agera R was in Most Wanted and Rivals, and the Bugatti Veyron was in Pro street, Shift 2, Hot Pursuit, The Run, and Rivals

That was filmed along highway 128 through the redwoods near Navarro, CA in Navarro River Redwoods State Park. It's one of the most picturesque roads in California so I'm actually really surprised they would have let them film through there.

I feel like the makers of this movie really understood and liked the games. It's full of stuff that I got to know from the games and loved. The Dodge Charger SRT8 police cars are in Most Wanted (2012), the forest level with tall trees is a recurring scene in the games at least since Hot Pursuit 2. I love this movie.

Ngl that sesto elemento is beast among all other cars. Super light with insane acceleration and cornering ability. A potent track weapon. No other car here can even stay even close on a track or a map like the one in this movie.

Sesto Elemento is my 2nd favorite lamborghini (first being the veneno). All carbon fiber with insane capabilities. Had this car in old asphalt 8. When i reinstalled the game on my new laptop since my tablet no longer worked, i was mad when i needed tokens to rebuy it when i originally got it for credits

Yeah there's just no way it could keep up with an Agera, and seeing the track they are driving is mostly straights, the Sesto Elemento would fall behind real quick.

@@smogblazer4509 No way that track is straight, it got enough turns. No where any of that car is going beyond 250 kmph on that track in reality considering other opponents and unpaved corners. That lambo got the quickest acceleration there and it is 400kg lighter than that agera. SVJ got a under 6 min 43 sec time on nurburgring being 1600+ kg. Now imagine an all carbon fiber 999 kg car with 600 hp NA engine. Even a hatchback weights more lol.

I just realised that the scene where they enter the forest is very similar to the hot pursuit cgi opening cutscene. Even the time of day matches except there are no lambo or bugatti interceptors.

Ah yes hot pursuit, nostalgia hits harder than dad's belt, the ongoing cutscene with the lambo reventon cop car made it one of my fave cars, and you are right it would have referenced nfs hot pursuit if they had lambo and buggati interceptors would have made the movie 10x more better than it is now

Realistically the final section before the lighthouse would have been an easy win for the Elemento, but it has lots of straight line sections that an Agera can keep up, thereby balancing the odds

@@SpitfireTheWolf I actually realised last week (not for the first time, weirdly) that things like the Elemento having a wind-up window wasn't true-to-life, though I will say it makes a bit more sense from a cinematic perspective. A tiny flap would be laughed at when there's a tense conversation seconds before a big race.

The Sesto and the Koenigsegg performance are completely the opposite the Koenigsegg being able to outpace the sesto in corners or turns and the sesto just goes "catch up" on the Koenigsegg on the straights 😂
