01/Abril /2017 en Helsinki, Hope and Legacy lo superó... la isu temió premiarle los componente del programa como se merecía con 10, y lo único que consiguió fue que se consagrara en el corazón de los amantes del patinaje artístico como su majestad alada del hielo... efectivamente en SEIMEI fue maravilloso, obtuvo mejor puntuación en los componentes del programa libre que en la de H&L, pero éste último es historia aparte, es uno de los más grandes momentos del deporte en su totalidad, algo así como los 10's que le dieron a Nadia Comanecci, sólo que aquí el se consagra y la isu comienza a cavar su tumba

They were always biased but when the system was from -1 to +3 there were no much room for overscoring so much and at that time the big 3 feds USA Rusia and Canada did not have that strong competitors (I mean Patrick Chan was his closest competition on the quad before Sochi ) so they have not other option to be fair , but still , Yuzuru knew that he had to be perfect in order to achieve results because the judges had eyes for UR and other things when it’s about him but a blind eye when it’s for example Shoma Uno and now Yuma Kagiyama and Nathan Chen

@@tggchallenges878 His BEST ever score was in the 2015 GPF. that was his PEAK. He's never beaten that score and it's not because of biasism. or injuries. He's getting old and is gonna retire soon. He's getting judged accordingly, his jumps have lean and he lands hard. At this point he just wants to land 4A and retire.

@@diya863 for the Olympics you can preform any routine you want. It's not too uncommon for skaters to return to an old routine. Especially if it's one that was special to them or a crowd favorite. Something you've spent a lot of time on preparing. A lot of times Skaters will spend the year or 2 leading up to an Olympics testing out different styles and moves so they can figure out what they want to preform at the Olympics. At least that's my understanding of it.

Yes , I think that's what makes him so different , he doesn't just skate on a music being played in the background , but it's as if he is one with the music , they go together , lots of lots of movements involved , and that's when his artistry shine

He's a rock star as they said. He adds elements of playfulness, excitement and even sexiness to every performance.

@@tjwash5118 you are so right. I just feel a little miffed that he doesn't get the recognition that he deserves, eg: they still haven't given him the Laureus Award. Seems to me that award is only reserved for tennis players and footballers.

Haha, same here and I totally agree with you! But it's 2022 for me and he just landed the first ever 4A in the Jap. Nationals 2022 practice (not perfect, but landed) and attempted it (landed, but very wobbly and slightly under rotated) in the competition in fs. I honestly don't know if he will win Bejing Olympics in February (I do believe in him and his mental strength and physical ability tho), because I don't know how well the other figure skaters are doing (or how many quads they stacked to win....), so for me it remains to be seen. But seeing Yuzu succeed in what he always wished for is already soooo satisfying to see and with the 4A (some even said it's physically impossible) he brings the sport on another level AGAIN! No matter if he wins or not, he will always remain the best figure skater of all times for me.

@@yozocuddlewolf7371 When he Yuzu says he will do everything he can to win, I trust him. He knows his capabilities more than anyone. I guess, he would want to watch what will happen at U.S. Nationals first so he can plan out whether to stack up another quad to his program or to leave it as is. Either way, now that it’s 2022, my new fave is Rondo Capriccioso. Not a single movement was out of place. The step sequence was fire 🔥. The 4T-3T has room to be a little cleaner, and I’d wish his 3A had a little more flow out before he does his twizzle (but that’s already asking too much when he went for it from a back counter entry that was preceded by a series of steps with no cross over/cross under in that sequence. I am still finding it hard to comprehend where he got his speed!) but everything else was magic! Like his spin right after his twizzle exit from his 3A. His 2022 SP is insane. 🤯

I adore the Chopin! The 4cc 2020 version is my fave; I heard he really liked that skate of his too! ❤️⛸❤️

For me the thing that separates good skaters from great ones is the upper body. His arms are never just flopping about, always engaged in choreography, emphasis on the music, especially in this routine. The black gloves are real effective.

@@tjwash5118 YES! Totally agreed. His upper body always calm, not frailing when landing at all. Also his long arms also contribute to his seemless flow of skating. Long arms and long legs, their movements are always "with" the music. He used to say "I am an artistic athlete."

I'm still watching this in 2021. He's the best in all times.

@@z.a.7846 I agree. But it really makes me mad that this commentator seems to only want to criticize Yuzu's performances these days and is all fanboy now on an American skater. Yuzu is the best there has ever been. He's the history maker. To hell with this commentator and his snarky little remarks on Yuzu's recent performances. Maybe he should rewatch these performances to remind him how much in awe he was of Yuzuru and his amazing talent.
