I was driving the tuned ST on an overnight from Illinois to Savannah a few years ago and pulled out on the road behind some M-B wagon that looked a lot like this one. He punched it and left me way, way back. About five miles up, I saw him turn off the highway into a residential neighborhood. I still had 9 hours of driving to do.

Yeah, this car is an enigma of sorts; a muscle bound land cruiser that's way more roomy and practical than most muscle cars, with a potential for straight line performance that'd blow away most cars on the street. That, on top of it's luxury accoutrements, but would not stand a chance against something like a new Corvette or even BMW M4 on twisty back roads or a tight race track. All in all, it's a muscle bound road tripper that can would make any layman family member on said road trip tell stories to their children for decades to come, as the enthusiastic driver floors it to near it's to speed on vacant stretches of highway, something that almost anything else, commonplace would blush at.

19:25 This is kinda my take.. What i like most about this car/mod, is that.. outside of the Merc logos and lowered ride, is that its relativity unassuming. It is, a 'sleeper'. Its not loud, flashy, or screaming "look at me look at me!" like aLOT of other sport car/builds are. And im all about that.
