i have the exact same problem and then i watched this video, went to my car with a screwdriver and manually turn the small white gear clockwise till full, and boom its fixed, holy shit i didnt expect the solution to be this simple especially with thousands of people giving different advice, and not one person said to just manually turn the blend door gear

I have noticed that gear for blend door only moves from 28° to HI. I supuse it is not right. Tried to remove blower case but it feels secured/tight. Removed every screw i could find, still feels fixed. Is it glued?

Thank you for the vid, I have the same problem on my 2012 Prius C..Did you ever find a permanent solution to this issue? Also have you found other DIY fixes since you made the video? My AC would run cool when running in EV but soon as the engine comes on, hot air starts coming out no matter what the temperature is set on. Also I plan on taking the car to a garage to get it fix if I am unable to do it myself, what would you suggest I tell them so that they have an idea of what the solution is for the problem. I don't want them to go blindly looking for a solution that could end up costing me more than it should. Your response is greatly appreciated.
