It’s a mystery. The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta is America’s most affordable German-engineered compact sedan, with well-equipped versions boasting a strong and frugal turbo four-cylinder, automatic transmission, navigation, 17-inch alloys and lots more for under $24,500. The lineup also includes a 46-mpg diesel, a green hybrid, and the GLI sport sedan. All get freshened styling for 2015 to go along with terrific road manners and a spacious cabin. Great review! However, I would love to see more about the TDI SEL with the 6speed manual. There are very few reviews of that model, I can't wait to get my hands on one!

please also review the acceleration and the car's power. Its not just for super cars because that comes in factor for daily drivers. People who drive a lot want a car like these and driving can be really frustration for daily drivers esp if they're going a long distance. First thing you want to do after a long drive is probably rest for a while, cars with more space and better interior with more power don't' give you that feeling. You don't want to feel like you're paddling a bike either.

WRONG the S model does offer push start button if you get the technology package.

And then vw puts a torsion beam back into the 2019 and took away all engine choices but the dreary 1.4 turbo with 150 horse power. I'm not sure what they were thinking there.

Sam well most people in America don't put much thought into the suspension setup or engine option, so they're thinking Cha-ching $!

Why would anyone want a cvt... They're better on snowmobiles not cars.

It's a good driver but it's ugly! Looks very dated. Maintenance cost are much higher than Japanese cars.

Robert Brumley vw is continental car. And japanese car is not as good as continental car

It looks better than the bloated Americanized Honda's and Toyotas for sale today. Maintenance costs are the same. Not sure where you're getting your info.

Things that bug me about this Jetta. Poor build quality, bland styling, outdated technology (a 5 inch nav???) SE trims and above should have LED DRLS standard with projection headlights. Some people want real leather, lets give it as an option and lets bump up the plastic quality.

Anthony Cuda Its a $20k car dude, at that price point its just about the only car without cloth seats. The interior feels like its a discount Audi(thats a good thing), I just recently bought a Jetta Sport and love it.

+Anthony Cuda Though parts are significantly more expensive to replace than Japanese counterparts, the build quality is excellent. You can feel it when you close the doors, drive over 80mph on the highway and its tidy handling through corners. I actually rear ended an SUV at a low speed in my 2015 when I wasn't pressing the brake pedal down hard enough and I was changing my music and nothing happened to it despite the significant impact.. I also specifically chose the Jetta for its styling because its very low key. It's not overly designed like a lot of Hondas and Hyundais in its class..

e46 nole I love my Jetta but the rattles and cheap feeling interior kind of let me down. Going from an 08 Passat to a 12 Jetta SE is such a step down

Anthony Cuda The '15 Jetta doesnt have a cheap interior but I heard bad things about the earlier models.. no rattling for more and plenty of soft touch materials and padding, quiet cabin, piano black trim all over, black ceiling lining, and two-tone(beige and black) leatherette heated seats, plus plenty of leg and headroom for friends and family in the back. No complaints about the 2015 sport interior from me.

e46 nole Yea it doesnt try to be all boy racer like the Corolla and its classmates, its much more grown-up and refined looking. The funny thing is all these "boy-racer" designed cars are usually outperformed by the more low-key classy looking Jetta.. lol.
