Great video I’m gonna be changing my oil tomorrow morning and this helped a lot. One point though to make is that that is not a 50th anniversary they have a special color and graphics on the body along with unique wheels. It’s just a 2017 RS, which is what I have. The 50th anniversary if you look it up looks completely different.

good video, my camaro is exactly like yours, yellow v-6 convertible. There are 2 suggestions I'd like to make though. First, when installing an oil filter, the O-ring/gasket should have a light coat of oil on it. This helps the filter go on easier and it prevents the DRY oil ring from grabbing the mating surface and distorting as it drags as you tighten the filter. A false feeling could result in the filter not being seated well enough. The second suggestion is that when pouring oil from a jug, the spout should be on top, not the bottom. The reason is that when the spout is on the bottom the container may be short of air pressure. This will give you the glug-glug-glug of oil being poured which has a tendency to splash oil as it finally gets that gulp of air. With the oil spout on top, atmospheric pressure works with you and you won't get the glug-glug-glug problem. Helpful video though.

Hi Bro nice video. It is very helpful for the change oil. I have a question, do I lose guarantee if I make the change oil by myself?
@ikajeiOFFICIAL
@ikajeiOFFICIAL 4 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks! It won't void your guarantee if you buy engine oil and filter which is recommended by the manufacturer and keep your receipts as proof.
@billrevene2308
@billrevene2308 3 жыл бұрын
no, as long as you keep the receipts for the oil and filter. The Magnuson-Moss act of 1976 says you don't have to take your vehicle to an authorized dealer for stuff like that.

Cool video , I was waiting for you to put on a full body condom for safety. Lol sry man I've never seen Jack stands used with ramps. And most people would say that it's better to drain the oil while still warm, if it's cold it doesn't all flow out

Your coolant level in the video is low: the top coolant reservoir should be topped off completely, and the bottom up to about a 1/4. But otherwise, thanks for the helpful vid. Ни разу масло сам не менял, а теперь понял, что проще-простого.

I got a question I got a 2016 camaro 3.6 with 100,000 plus miles what engine oil should I use?
@ikajeiOFFICIAL
@ikajeiOFFICIAL 2 жыл бұрын
I would use full synthetic, accordingly to the GM recommendations. In fact I'm driving 350Z as my daily at the moment which has 155K on the clock and I'm still using full synthetic 5W20 for it.
