Күн бұрынWhat's going on everybody? This is D-Frank and today I will show you the final step in the 67,500 mile maintenance of the Ram 2500/3500. Today I am taking the EGR cooler out and giving it a cleaning. This job can be time consuming but its much more cost effective than paying the dealership over $1000 to do the job.

That crazy service is only required on 2012 and some other earlier models. 2013 and newer, CCV filter is whats required. Good experience thogh!

I appreciate the video . In the dealer you are paying for the experience and the responsibility you take off your shoulders incase there is a problem or a screw up in the process. Are they EXPENSIVE?????????? HELL YEAH......

Just found this video I thought I was looking at the wrong videos. That dam actuator above the cooler on these models makes this job a real ball buster. I was wondering if folks took it off or just tried to shoehorn the cooler out of there as I was going to do this job while I was cleaning the EGR, but at this point I don't think I want to mess with it if it isn't needed. (137K on my truck)

Called a dealership a week ago, the service was quoted as one day in the shop, $1100 for the “service”.
