That's a pretty truck a bull nose is on my list i was born in 85 and rode around in my mom's bullnose econoline growing up. I gotta finish my 95 f350 and my bronco ii first so I'll live through you for the time being. Can't wait to see what you do with it
@TheBlackScatPack16 күн бұрын
Thank you so much. It’s something about all trucks from that era that will hold a special place in my heart. I loved my dad’s 85 F-150 and I wish he took better care of it but he used that truck tho. Please keep me updated on your other builds. I’ll definitely be in the background supporting you!

@@TheBlackScatPack yea thats part of the reason i have a 95 f350 my pops had a 95 f150 mark iv with every bell and whistle you could order from the factory. but he wrecked it at some point when i was in college hell i liked the truck more than i like him LOL i do have a channel i havent filmed in a bit but i'm about to jump back on in the next couple weeks.

You can do that headliner it's super easy. Take all the trim down sound the edges of it and the visors the board will drop down. As long as it doesn't fall to pieces you're good. Get adhesive and headliner fabric. Look at some KZfaq videos it's one of the easiest things to do interior wise. I think sprayway customs has at least 1 headliner video you could easily follow.

@@TheBlackScatPack Doing well, man. Lots of changes in recent years but moving forward positively as always. yeah, I’m missing doing content, too… the car scene is so different now, and I sold my Hellcat a few years ago so I may do something else, who knows. Anyway, good to see you’re back at it! I watched your old hellcat test drive video last night for old times sake. I remember that was one video that made me get serious about buying one. Stay blessed, my man. I’ll be watching for any new content you post!

@@mikebythesun those times were so much fun. To me it seemed more community based but even then it was some problems but nothing like it is now. I’ve started making some of my older videos into shorts and I remember the excitement you had when you finally got your Hellcat. Man good times. It just makes me happy hearing that you’re still doing well as a whole. One day I can see myself getting back into a Mopar and hopefully then it would be restoring a classic. 🙏🏾

@@TheBlackScatPack Yeah there was definitely some drama here and there back then, but nothing that couldn’t be resolved easily. Anyway, I’m in a 1500 now so I’m still Mopar, but one day I can see myself getting a challenger again. An R/T Classic pre-2015 with a drop and exhaust would be all I need! Be well my friend.

Slip, not ride.. Big difference.

Low rpm low power clutch slipping isn't going to cause premature wear to any measurable degree. Heat causes wear, and is the underlying principle of how wear happens.

Does Dodge still have the double tap set up on the throttle some people just stomp on it but it rev up gear to gear if you doubled tap it it goes wot and drops gears automatically
@fullautokАй бұрын
A manual car is not going to drop gears automatically. But yes I believe the automatics with paddles have what you’re talking about
@TheBlackScatPackАй бұрын
@@fullautok yes I want to say the 8 speed autos have that feature
@ivanrosenfeld7381Ай бұрын
Yeah I have a Jeep grand Cherokee but Jeep falls under the same parent company as Dodge so it has the same mechanic. I can stomp the throttle for a sec and, without accelerating, it will drop gears and go into higher rpm’s. Pretty cool but it’s only useful if u know beforehand that you need to accelerate. In case of an emergency, going to sport mode is always easier and faster.

What did you see or read to show you where the cord should be secured to the truck, like which holes did you know to stick the little plastic things in?
@TheBlackScatPackАй бұрын
You mean the plastic tabs that can be ran across the body? I want to say I stretched it out before I did the install and mocked everything up before the install. I think that’s how I figured out what those tabs were meant for.

Did this today. One piece of advice: Let a dealership remove the instrument cluster bezel for you and do the rest yourself. I was really careful, but broke off two of the orange retainer clips on the back of the bezel and some more plastic retainers on the heating ducts. If you don't know where to place the tool, you're almost 100% sure to do some damage to it. The gauge faces are pretty neat though.

Ironically, you’re getting the same mpg that the ram 2500 that has the same motor gets. This is the same engine that Dodge parts in there 3/4 and 1 ton pick up trucks. You can’t have nearly 500 hp and expect good mpg lol. With that said totally worth it for the driving experience.
