I actually enjoyed this review. As a father, it was very helpful because you actually give real world scenarios with cargo space capacity and children seats. Im debating between getting this car or a Honda HR-V. Hopefully you get the chance to do a review on the HR-V sometime in the future

Paul, great review. Have you reviewed the Outback 2.5? Due to the weak tech system in the RDX do you think it's worth the additional cost? Thanks!

+Matt Gomez Thanks for watching, Matt. I haven't done an official test on the latest Outback but have a couple of friends who own them and they're generally happy... pros include its amazing AWD, resale value and cargo capacity. Cons are noisier ride, a cheaper feeling than the interior of the RDX and a sliding initial quality score from JD Power and Associates in their initial customer satisfaction survey. Another one worth looking at that comes in cheaper with a great fit and finish inside, great warranty and good performance is the new Tucson, too.

I've heard similar issues with the navigation. What do you think of the base model if you do not care for the navigation? Any comments on resale value of the base model?

Resale on an Acura regardless of trim should be solid for you. Although the more bells and whistles the better when it comes time to sell. Have you made up your mind on what to buy yet?

I am very apprehensive about trading my 2014 CRV for an RDX. I like the V6, comfortable seats, LED lights, but don't like the soft steering. Also, #1 turn off for me is the high tech entertainment system as I don't use any of that.

I've never heard any review complain of the "razor blade" grill. Everyone I've met likes it. Moreso that the TLX or RDX as those are flat while the RDX is "3D" because of the extra "sculpting". As for the "yogurt test"... it's luxury SUV. Get a cheap CR-V... just like you said. The RDX isn't targeted to someone like you, so don't waste your time.

+Christian Lanctot Thanks for watching, Christian. I have to say, I have heard from a lot of families who are looking at or have bought the RDX. Case and point, a comment from our Facebook page: "I would say you're spot on. Two years later and I still haven't got potato soup out of a seat, we gave up on the navigation system long ago (cut to the scene of Michael Scott driving into a lake) but it drives nicely and the leg and cargo room is tops." I really like this car. Just a couple general observations.
