I recently bought a '23, but actually prefer the soft-top, and the automatic. Absolutely love driving this car. *For interior storage, don't forget that there is a storage compartment behind each seat. If you're ever in Victoria, let me know!

The problem with this car is that there’s no ac vents for the 3 rd row, so in summer (which is the majority of the year) you will be sweating there and wanting out!!! Very big issue that a 100 k plus car should not have. Definitely a deal breaker for me. If you don’t use the third row then just get a GLE, so the GLS is only good for extra cargo room.

@scooter5940

Leasing is simply a method of financing a vehicle. If you have to be worried about monthly payments, you probably have no business buying one of these, or a Yukon Denali, or a 'Vet. The notion that leases are somehow a great financial deal (there may be other good reasons to lease) is propagated by people who don't understand them.

I’m on my second X5, a 2024 X Drive 40i. I owned Corvettes, Porsches and Datsun(Nisan) Z’s. This car does everything, accelerate, handle and gets good fuel economy for a large SUV, 27 highway and 25 overall. Not only that, it holds my golf clubs and everything else. I wouldn’t consider a Denali or any other GM product. I’ve owned a few Corvettes and Oldsmobiles, they don’t compare! I don’t care if it say “I’ve arrived “ . It drives well and suits my needs!

To lease this vehicle you would spend $44,000 and get to drive to for 3 years $4705 down $1092 a month including tax. You can drive just 30k miles. That is an insanely expensive price to borrow a car. I love the X5 and X7 but a lease that’s costs more than what I paid cash for my BMW X3 out the door is insane.

I think the reason the rear seat postion in regaurds to the rear wheels is so tight is to keep the handling perfomance of the vehicle at top notch level. If you slide them further back youd lose the fun handling. Ill gladely tske the awesome handling over the extra couple inches.
