Hey Ram fans! Here we have the 2016 Ram 3500 Longhorn Mega Cab. Ram has stepped up their game with the new 3500.
The 6.7L Cummins has 370 Horsepower and 800 FT. LBS. of Torque.

Well, I am fortunately the new owner of this truck! A dream come true! I test drove it today and am picking it up first thing Monday morning as they are legalizing it for Pennsylvania. I had the truck shipped from West Virginia and this video you see here is how I found this truck. Been looking for about a month for one anywhere in the country. Hard to find. Called the dealer right after watching this vehicle and begged not to sell till I arrived. Beautiful truck. They shipped it to my local dealer and the staff I worked w at my dealership all said its the nicest truck that they have ever had. Dreams can come true. Been a long wait. Happy motoring, Mike.

+mike bardzel Very nice ride Mike, I have a 2013 3500 mega cab like yours and absolutely love it, pain in the a@# to wash though....

+MrMikey1224 Thanks Mike. Had it for 3 weeks now and just went over that 1000 mile mark. Ouch! Really amazing vehicle. Went to Pittsburgh and back 2 weeks ago. Across PA. Wow! Fantastic on the interstate. Smooth and quiet like riding in a plane. The torques and the engine braking too. Wow. Test pulled out 31' camper with it. THe engine brake did all the work. Didn't even need to touch the regular brakes down steep windy hills that I was nervous about with my 2003 dodge diesel 2500. I actually dont mind washing it. Sounds like u have a beauty too.

The miles will add up quickly, I drive mine everywhere, kinda a bitch to find parking sometimes but the pro's out weigh the con's. I've had mine now just over 2 years and I'm still finding features on it, very beautiful truck you bought there, Have fun and drive safe..... Mike

Ram should put the pattern stitching back in the Longhorns. It really set them apart in my opinion.

For sure! And with all of that torque you can tow pretty much anything! The Longhorn interiors are really luxurious and high quality.

Nice truck. I wonder why he didn't show how the rear seats recline, and fold down. Seeing the rear storage would have been nice also. It's a Mega Cab... Show some of the reasons why a person would want a Mega Cab. Well... unless you're just showing off some basic features that motor vehicles have like in this video, it's not like this video is to advertise a truck for sale. just a basic review. This video needs a new title

I was told by the dealer I bought my truck (almost exact as this but all black) from, not to ever let it idle for any period of time because it will plug the particulate filter quicker, anyone know anything about this?

I have a 14 and you can let them idle for hours if you need to,but yes the dpf will fill faster but it will clean itself out when you drive on the highway. I have since deleted mine so I don't have any more concerns.

not a 16.... 16 has a different grill. and 900 ftlbs of torque

The 2016 Limited has the different grill, this is a Longhorn. As stated on the window sticker, this one has the 68RFE Automatic Transmission, so the engine has 370 Horsepower and 800 FT. LB. of Torque. If it had the Aisin Automatic, the engine would jump up to 385 Horsepower and 900 FT. LBS. of Torque. So this one is a 2016.

Nice truck but after tax and title it's well north of $72,000. I barley could justify buying my 300c. Here in Wisconsin for $72,000 you can buy a descent house.

thanks for the the specs. I didn't remember exactly what Chevy was. I just know Chevy has soft suspension. they don't even want a snow plow on them dodge is designed for up to 4000 lbs on the front. they want u to use the truck. :)

Trucks should not be over $25,000. I'll keep my old truck and replace anything that may go wrong and you can keep that truck in your parking lot. $70,000 really?

Over $25000? Are you crazy? A midsize sedan will cost $25000. Hell, a compact sedan will cost you $21000. Do you know how much engineering goes into these trucks? Its alot, enough to send r&d cost through the roof
