Trying to diagnose a shake/vibration thats been with the vehicle since it was new. Looks like transfer case is shaking and not the rear wheels.

Did it still shake after rotating your tires? Also, did it shake in the steering wheel or just the rear seats? I have the same vibration only in the rear. Rotated tires and vibration still in the rear.

I went with aftermarket 22 Inch wheels and changed all the brake rotors, solved the issue.

2019 Ram 1500. Having vibration issues, causing cab to loudly vibrate. It's under warranty. Dealer says it's a bad rear caliper support bracket. Parts on backorder... Should tell you how much of an issue it is. Just a suggestion.

I'm going to check them next.. just haven't gotten around to it yet.. noticed the rear control arm bushings are ruined from all the shakes.. gonna have the dealer replace them before my warranty is over.

@@CDNGoMangoSRT I have a 2013 Ram. I never considered the transfer case being an issue. I have been chasing this vibration since i bought it. Rebuilt entire front end with Moog parts, factory control arms are junk! Same issue. Front wheel bearings got noisy, changed them and still no change. New pads and rotors all the way around, new shocks and I just changed the U-Joints yesterday. Shake is still there any time I get near 70mph. I had a 2007 ram as well. Smooth like silk at 80mph all day long. Thoughts?

My 2017 ram started to vibrate once I added 22x12 havok 112 atturo trail blades. Anyone found a solution?

Same issue here, 2016 Ram Bilstein leveled with 20X10's and 33X12.5 Aturro trail blades. Had it Road Force balanced and still the same issue. Driving me insane.
@sideways4daystunewerksinc5784 жыл бұрын
The issue is the front driveshaft cups on the output from the front differential. Go under, grab the drive axle near the differential and try to move it.
@sideways4daystunewerksinc5784 жыл бұрын
Look on my page, i had a 2014, it did that. Replaced the differential and the axles because they do not make the output shaft for the drives side. They come out when you try to take it apart.

Get your tires "trued" problem solved. This has been a big deal for years and no one seems to find the fix. Almost all larger tires are not built perfect so the difference will cause vibrations. When you have the tread cut to zero out the tire the vibration is gone, smooth like butter.
@clarda15 жыл бұрын
This does not make sense. Its easier to balance a larger tire, do you mean smaller tires??? Tires with low- to hardly any sidewall are incredibly hard to balance because of what you said, any imperfection is exacerbated. In any case, the tires are not the issue. As some one who owned a 2014 with this problem, I can tell you 100% its a drive line flaw.
@artz3305 жыл бұрын
@@clarda1 ho get your tires trued at a local semi place and let me know. I can tell you for certain this is the issue. No balance or road force will help you. Your post on tires doesnt make sense itself. I own a shop. This has taken care of all vibration issues on all RAMs that come through here.

@@razah2339 I have owned 2 rams now, one has 108k miles and 4 sets of tires. The other 138k and 5 sets of tires. From the time the install of the tires is done to the drive over to get them cut the truck vibrates. I have had 9 sets of tires now trued, balanced, and alignments done every time I put new tires on and both of my trucks have been driving like glass no vibrations whatsoever.
@RickySlatton Жыл бұрын
@@artz330 will this cause your truck to vibrate in the rear only and not in the steering wheel? I have rotated my tires and the vibration is still in the rear? Could it still be tires Or driveline?

Similar on my 2015 Ecodiesel. Changed wheels, tires, force balancing, etc... vibration started around 30k miles, 175k miles now and shake is no worse. Still no solution. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ac5leqyG1t2Zp4E.html
