Thanks for another straight pool video. I can't get enough of these. I own several accustats videos myself.

If it was even remotely feasible to make the 2 ball, that would be 1 thing, I love Shaw but I remember watching this and being so surprised he was such a douche about this. Earl can be an asshole but that was obviously the shot he was going for, visibly pointed to the pocket and make a great shot. A little class from Shaw here would have been nice to see.

He knew he called the two, thats why he got angry with himself and hit himself in the head with the cue...(else his reaction of anger wouldve been directed at jayson and not himself) Hes getting old, and prob said two instead of ten because theyre both blue balls. But his body lauguage showed that jayson was right.

This video was 8 years ago lol. Also Earl so kind he even allowed Jayson Shaw to live with him when he wanted to leave his crummy country and come to the superior USA to play pool and make real money.

Do you have the Earl vs Mika final, or know where it is maybe? I don't see that anywhere, and seems strange, since it is the final and several other videos are out there from this tournament.

You can clearly hear earl call the two ball. This is a tournament play game with call ball fouls. I hear him with and without headphones call the two ball. Shaw got robbed here and should never play there again.

At the end the tournament director says the commentators talking makes so he can’t hear the called shot and that the commentators even know what’s going on but if you rewind you hear all the commentators say he knows he called the two. That tells me the director is also not fair and giving the win to his his friend. I wouldn’t ever play in one of those tournaments also. Shaw is100% correct.

Earl is a amazing player hes playing with the young guns of the game and holding his own playing pool gets harder the older you get your eyes dont see the balls like when you were younger playing the game plus standing for hours at a time and the pressure takes its toll look at efron reyes he still plays great but not like he used too but earl is still playing amazing pool hes the best ever in my opinion!!

Earl knew he called the two ball when jayson said you called the two. Earl immediately slammed his cue and said “god damn it”. Then he looks at the ref and says “he didn’t hear it tho”. Then he started complaining and when jayson said oh so now your gonna cheat earl said “you can clearly see what I was shooting at”. So on three occasions earl admits and knows he’s in the wrong. IMO earl is a cheater and is no good for this sport!

He clearly points at the pocket and lines up the 10 before the shot , to call him a cheater for mis speaking is ridiculous. He lined up an insanely difficult and clutch shot and made it. Anyone who thinks he should be punished for misspeaking after executing an amazing shot like that is beyond a cry baby Karen. Jayson showed no class here after his opponent hit an amazing shot. Earl said he would never call that foul on Jayson and I absolutely believe that

I wondered if this was the match with the infamous ending and sure enough it is. The players do not play well, so don't expect that, but the ending is something. You will definitely talk to people about that. The ending has been posted on Facebook back in 2016.

@@meatalman1962, yes, at the very end. Jayson actually just quits, when the call goes against him. Earl makes a very difficult shot, but Jayson claims he called the wrong ball. It is kind of weird. It doesn't make Jayson look good. It is like trying to win at any cost

@@batmmann The rules are there for everyone. Jayson started off calmly, stating Earl called the 2 ball. He got angry because obviously the ref is Earl's friend and decided in favour of Earl instead of making the correct call. Earl was obviously shooting the 10 ball but he called the 2 ball. A mistake. Accept it, don't do it again. Listen here if you have doubts kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hrKPlMilp5qwYqM.html Win at any cost? Dude, this is a professional sport with entry fees of 10 thousand dollars sometimes. All these people are capable of winning so the little things decide who actually wins. Sooo...bad ref, silly outcome and Jayson was the only person who behaved as he should. Except throwing balls and waving hands but that is also part of the game cause you are focused to the maximum and when it's obvious you got ripped then the emotions start to come out. Obviously you don't play high level competition sports otherwise you would not comment like that

@@ragingram9540 , you hear what you want. I have listened multiple times and others have. You can't tell. I would say Jon Leyman made the right call, but not sure about who the ref was at the table. Now, based on Earl's reaction, I definitely think Earl called the 2 at one point. Was it right before he shot? Not sure. Earl looks confused. So, what is your high run? I do think most people are not win at any cost types, and respect the game. I do believe Earl would not have done what Jayson did. Earl applauded when Efren made the z kick. Earl appreciates good play and no I don't like Earl. laugh.

@@batmmann How would I hear what I want when I examined the situation without taking sides? He says 2 ball. Earl is known for messing up the names of things. It's not a matter of his ability to acknowledge the mistake or not. It's a matter of playing according to the rules. Rules say the ball has to be called. Otherwise, end of this player's turn. Therefore, incorrect ref ruling as Earl called the 2 and pocketed the 10

Look at where the 2 ball was theres no way the 2 could have went into the corner pocket the 10 ball was the only shot earl had and he called the pocket but earl did call the 2 ball but he called the right pocket a tiny mistake like that should not have taken the shot from earl and the game earl would have lost if the ref make the call in jaysons favor jayson is suppose to be a pro you dont throw balls and cry and quit you suck it up and move on!!

@@meatalman1962 Here's a very old feature of youtube you aren't familiar with: under each comment that's not in the language you set youtube for (the low-language called english in your case) there's a button that says "Translate to English". You hit that and it magically translates the comment! If you don't see that button, upgrade your version of youtube or get a better computer. Translated: " Earl wanted the 10, what else? What do you all mean? ".

Early clearly called the 10 ball - he even pointed to the pocket before he shot...Jayson was in the wrong and way overreacted....right call by the REFS.

You need your hearing tested. A call cannot be made by pointing, it must be verbal. He clearly says two ball. Why do you think he'd angrily react if he did nothing wrong?
@gabriel-contentwriter5578
@gabriel-contentwriter5578 16 күн бұрын
@@RyanADillon love the smart azz comment. You need to learn about the game before talking. At 2:31:06 Earl says TEN ball and POINTS to the pocket that the 10 ball goes into. IF he had called the 2 ball, he clearly would have pointed to another pocket since there is no way the 2 ball, which barely even MOVED on the shot, was going towards that pocket. Then, after shooting, Earl immediately clarifies "10 ball", and is angry because his opponent did not hear the call, and he shouts "he didn't hear it". This is the most clear and honest ball call there can be.
