I commented on the older post, but again, beautiful. Nicely done. Best to you and your team. (Still surprised at the size of the engine compared to the aircraft - grin). Cheers (Canada)

Nice! Pretty cool! You should also add an onboard camera for pilot point of view while flying!

thank you for your comment! You can see the video from the aircraft in the video that is released on the channel of Mr. Hachiya. Here is a flight image from an air show in Oshkosh, USA in July this year. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qKyVi9ek1dacf3U.html

You've created something that, though refinedly technical, is beautiful as a poem. Seems to me like the marriage between a Vespa and a Seagull, and has some reminiscense of Sabre F-86 genetics also (the air inlet). Could it be in the future a version with the pilot seated as in a motorcycle? Would a little tail ruin its beauty? (I think it could bring some extra protection against rolling). Again, amazing! Greetings from Argentina.

Google translate says: On July 31, 1980, it was M-02J modeled after Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds, which made the first 8 round-trip flight in Japan. This video is a test flight video just before the release flight. I tried to follow the trajectory from the time the jet engine was replaced to the open flight. I'm sorry, the video of the actual production gave up a lot of blurring because it used a lot of zoom.

@@TKawasaki Ever thought of producing this for the commercial market? People have been trying to make flying cars, but this is better. Also, this is the closest man will come to flying on a back of a bird, dragon, or even a pterosaur, pteranodon in particular.

Looks much like the kite I flew years ago in a Manila kite festival and it flew very well. Time to build a cockpit model so you can sit down and avoid the neck strain.
why wasn't this recommended to me 3 years ago. Its very interesting.

Looks like from a Miyazaki movie... As a hang-glider pilot I am a bit surprised about the design, seems to rely more one experiment than aerodynamics and science. Also the feeling of flying is much nicer in a laying position under the wing, that way it feels more bird like :)

Is there any reason for the negative dihedral halfway through the wing besides stylistic purposes?

Thank you for commenting! The swept wings have the role of horizontal stabilizer. And the partition between the main wing and the falling wing has the role of stabilizing the flight
