i saw nausicaa 20 years ago, it was totally bananas for me, i liked because despite being bananas is a beautiful movie. Then i read the comic, and that was AWESOME, one of the best comics i read in my entire life, and explains everything in detail, and the art was sublime.

Emma Maryjanes people erroneously think the same thing when they see Paramotor pilots with helmets. The helmet isn’t for if you just fall out of the sky. Most accidents happen during takeoff or landing so the helmet is there in the event something goes wrong close to the ground. Note: I’m not saying the helmet is enough and I’m not saying that it would help much if he just dropped out of the sky but it’s not nearly as useless as people think.

Seems to be pretty stable without any software but I notice that the sun is just coming up so it must be calm. He is not completely crazy.

How do we know there is no software? How is he flying it? It looks like he is just hanging on and shifting his weight. Is there somerone on the ground with a remote FBW type control that has software to stabilize it? It just looks too unstable for him to fly to me.
