Got my Bolt 2 weeks ago and love it! This is a great review and still minimizes all of the neat features of the Bolt. Got my home charger installed from Amazon in 3 days. Been in a Tesla X and still love the Bolt more. While not as fancy, it has better viewing and is more spacious. With all of the Bolt features I have, the Tesla would be $60k and by the time I got one, the rebate would no longer be available. Go Chevy!!

I had a Volt and traded it in on a Bolt. This review is spot on, its fun to drive, fast and has more range than ill really ever need. We have a Subaru Outback for long trips but this fills the bill for everything else. With no sales tax here in Washington on the first 32k and after the rebate from uncle Sam total cost was under 30k. This is great car!

Great review!!! I've seen Bolt reviews , but this is the most in depth review of the Bolt! Outside of the styling, this EV is a solid choice !!

For $250 a month lease, this car is AMAZING! Plus CA gives you at least $2500. I use it almost every day and charge once a week at work or home.

I live in Vancouver, Canada. Test drove the Bolt in March. The dealer said the earliest delivery time was December. Since then I have contacted other dealers. Most do not return emails or phone calls. I think this is a car ahead of its time for the current car retailing market.

Here I am in February 2024 looking at this video. I can tell you that I lost my 2019 LT to a (Not at fault) freeway accident. The crumble zones work great, BTW. I replaced it with another 2019 and I can tell you that I have absolutely loved this little car. These Bolts have next to zero maintenance, too. I enjoy these cars so much I recommended it too my girlfriend. She bought a used 2018 LT. She's had hers for a year now and she loves it as well. Just make sure that you get one with the upgraded charging port. Unless you only plan on using it in town. In which case use the fact that it has the slower charge to save another $1,000-$1,500 bucks off the asking price 👍🏽. You're welcome and good luck finding your Bolt!

Nice to see someone not compare it to the Tesla, yes Telsa is the best but not everyone is super rich either, Chevy have done it right

I think this'll make a great used buy. At $43k it's hard to justify but when it gets down to $15k (and it will...pretty quickly) I'll be scouring AutoTrader for one. I like the look.

Just saw your review. I have had my Bolt for about 1.5 years and I think you did a good job reviewing it. You are right on about its practicality and fun driving it. It is a mystery, why GM doesn't have a real marketing campaign. Even now I find people, who are well educated and active who have either never heard of it or have no idea that it has the range and power to be a practical car. Initially I wasn't excited about driving a hatchback, but it is really very practical. As the price of batteries falls and a fast charging network appears, the economics will drive the market to EV's. Automakers see it coming and are making plans. No more 850 part transmissions.

I've been considering replacing my daily driver 2016 Kia Soul ! with the Bolt. My wife thinks the Bolt is ugly, but that's what she thought about the Kia Soul. She loves the Soul on the inside (pardon the pun) for the roominess and ride height. Interesting note, the Bolt is designed in Korea.
