I towed everyday and had a Ram 1500 and sure it will pull my under 10,000 lbs trailer a year or so but it falls apart and didn't perform well when braking. I nearly ripped the hitch through the frame. I speak from experience and not making asSumptions.

Remember some people like to buy once and this is what that truck is for. Just purchased an Airstream trailer weighing 4800 lbs. Eventually like to upgrade to a 27'-30' trailer weighing 9,000 lbs with all the associated payload. Buy once & be done.

That's because the Ram was the last brand to bump up the torque of their diesel and advertise about it. Ford and Ram have been playing leapfrog over torque for the last couple of years. We're still waiting on what GM is gonna do.

Ford has one of the worse looking quality screens and gps! So dated it makes the truck seem like a 2010 ha. They need to raise the bar and so plastic feeling inside the cab which feels like low quality. Ram has them beat sad to say 🤨

No it isn't. It's a truck that seats up to 6, can put over 5k in the bed, can tow 30k and has more technology than an xbox. Technology costs money as well as the options like panoramic roof. IMO, $73k is a steal for what you get. 20 years ago people would have begged to have a truck like this for $73k

+fordrac1ng81 - I know my opinion may be somewhat controversial, but most people don't need all this tech in a truck. Especially in a truck that is not their daily driver. I'm looking at this from a long term point of view. Albeit the new tech is amazing and fascinating it isn't necessary for the average user. When the tech starts going out and the repair bills come in the average Joe won't be want to get it back up and running. What remains to be seen is whether it takes 2 years or 6 years for stuff to start breaking down. I'm a firm believer in keeping things simple, if it's not there it can't break. I hope manufacturers offer the same engine and tow capacity without all the bells, whistles and do-dads. Dodge did this with the Ram Tradesman. I just need to get something really heavy from point A to point B for thousands of miles and several years. I don't need to go to space or feel like I'm in a fighter jet. I appreciate the luxury, comfort and engineering involved but I'd much rather like to drive my truck instead of piloting it. 73k is a lil steep for a material hauler.

the problems the 6.7l powerstroke have are all emissions related, which all diesels manufacturers are having. I very rarely do major engine work to the 6.7l powerstroke. it's all def failures or Egts.
