175 American hp combined with an automatic gearbox, for 1550 kg give or take, that engine has to suffer quite a bit. I am looking for something that has 7 kg per metric hp or less, bit difficult nowadays, apparently.

Cameron doesn't seem to be a fan. DCT's do tend to be jumpy in city driving.

Just bought this car & Eco light does come on when I press the drive mode button, is it automatically in Economy mode already ??😧 when I press the drive mode button only the sport light comes on😟

Hi, I'm looking to buy a Tucson as my first car within the next month or so. I absolutely love it but I'm a little hesitant now after doing research and finding there has been issues with the transmission such as car not being able to accelerate once stopped at a intersection. I know it was recalled and haven't been able to find info whether the problem was fixed or not.

Robert Shaw Fortunately in my case I was interested in the SE model which has an automatic transmission. The higher trim lvls have a dual clutch which are the ones with the reported issues. I still wasn't able to find any current info on whether those issues were fixed or not. Sorry

Nsimba Mahungu. I read somewhere that last month hyundai told the dealers how to fix the problem, but I haven't heard from anyone who had their car fixed whether or not the transmission works better or not maybe someone who had that done will read this and reply.

this also worries me I wanted the 2017 Tucson limited, but the 2016 had major transmission problems, I go on www.carcomplaints.com/Hyundai/Tucson/2017/ and I find out that the 2017 is starting to have transmission problems as well

I hate this car. I have had my 1.6t Ltd Tuscon for a year now. Just hit 20k kms. clutch has been replaced twice, transmission overheats in standard Auckland traffic. I cant tow anything over 300kgs and the transmission overheats. Dont even try reverse up a hill as the transmission will over heat and cut out. Worst car i have EVER had.
